Thank you fir making a segment on mental health. This is often not discussed in the hair care world but they are so intrinsically connected. I can often have my bodily anxiety manifest in how i treat my hair. After 2 years i can see evidence of periods when i was more anxious and negligent than offers, and when i was nurturing my hair. I think being at peace is the biggest beauty life hack.

i agree with you 100%. so much of our emotions and physical/spiritual state are held within our hair. our locs tell a story.

Does one have to wash and shampoo with the water you recommend?

i usually wash and shampoo my hair with the water that comes from my shower, so just tap water because it's easier. however, i am looking to invest in a water softener soon to clean the water of harmful minerals.
