For a little extra control with your contour sander, get sanding disks that are larger than the diameter of the plate where the disks attach. This will give you the ability to soften or round out inside corners so they aren't too sharp. All you need to do is do a pretty good eyeball when you're lining up the disk to the tool.
@John_Malecki that's a gorgeous box! You should make a fake, fake box next time...perhaps something for copies of important paperwork. Make it similar to this but inside the lid, have a magnetic push panel! When most people see a hidden compartment, they don't look for others...lol.

I love the design's organic feel. Very nice. I think I would line the interior of both the gun cubby and the catch all with some kind of black felt. Protect the gun and gives the outward appearance a slightly more refined look. Maybe the next version, for the next gun, you can incorporate some kind of hidden magnetic mechanism to open the bottom - make it a bit more secure from any little yinz that might be around.

Love your channel and how you come right out with any mistakes you made opposed to editing them out and maybe redoing the piece without having it in the video.
Hmm... Imho, I'd modify it with a multislot pen holder inside with a little arm to hold them down. And the arm can serve as a key release lever through to unlock the bottom cabinet. Swing one way, nothing. Swing the otherway unlocks the bottom.

Our bandsaw uses blocks for stabilizers, sometimes they spark when i push them on curves
