Don't Panic! Its summertime here in the UK and the weather has restricted the amount of time I can spend in the loft. I am working on the new layout and plan to start the videos off again in the autumn when things have cooled down a bit. Insulating the loft has started. I've designed the baseboards and will be starting on construction in the next few weeks. Once I've made some decent progress and got some videos ready to go I'll begin uploading videos more often. Thanks Guys
Every time I get on RUclips I always check to see if you have any updated videos. So glad to hear everything is well and look forward to your future videos. Can't wait!
"A city of beauty, tourism, culture... it's Watford". So deadpan, it had me in stitches. You're a born presenter. You've got the voice of command and every video you've created is exactly what it should be, fascinating, precisely narrated, informative and a pleasure to watch. Thanks for the work you put into them. They must take many hours and I really appreciate the effort.
Great video Richard and I just wish i had the time to build a layout but will have to share yours from a distance 😊 Regarding Texas Homecare .... Texas Homecare was first established in 1972 by Manny, Sydney and Gerald Fogel, who had previously founded the high street specialist paint and wallpaper chain Home Charm.[2] Using an American business model as inspiration, they revolutionised the UK's DIY market. Texas specialised in higher-volume, lower-margin DIY products. However, in the 1980s the company was adversely affected by the recession and depressed housing market, and was acquired first by Ladbrokes and later by J Sainsbury plc, before merging with and being replaced by Homebase. Hillards was another 80's retailer who disappeared and was bought out in a hostile takeover by Tesco. In Mickleover, derby there still a Tesco store that was originally built for Hillards by Bovis (a plaque in the cement says so) thats now Tesco.
Thanks Richard, you have actually inspired me to redo my layout. I started it when I really didn't know much and made a ton of rookie mistakes. So I am going to start over also to correct these mistakes and get me out of the cycle of constantly correcting myself
Excellent idea letting us make eye contact with you and having the fish in the background while you bring us the latest details. No worries about replying to every comment. We do however appreciate you taking the time to read them. I'm really looking forward to seeing the new ideas taking shape. Good luck with it all!!! Thanks. Cheers, Dan
Taking a note from Thistle Dew, I also thoroughly enjoyed this update. It was very nice to put a face with the voice I've been listening to for the past few years. I have watched and re-watched all of your videos with interest and great joy. It's very relaxing to sit down with a beer and watch what you do. I've learned a great deal from you; I have put a lot of your demonstrated skills into practice, only to have to tear up my first serious layout due to relocation. You have accomplished a great deal in a relatively short amount of time, be proud of it. I am envious. Please continue to do what you do, and know that it is appreciated very much. I am excited to see what you do next. Best of luck and the greatest of regards from Virginia, USA.
Hi,Richard,Can't wait to see you're new layout,Yes lots of us just loved Everard Junction and how it was constructed over the year's and it was sad to see you scrap it.But everyone who enjoyed you video's will be looking forward to the start of the new layout like me who has learned a lot from you.Keep up the good work Richard,Best Regard's,Jim Ewen.
Hi Everard Junction. Graham from down under (Australia) Have been watching/following, with great interest, your Everard Junction journey for a few years now. I now have a face to put with that English accent. (I am originally from Newport, Sth. Wales) I Have used a few of your ideas on my 'N' gauge layout. I find your tutorials encouraging, easy to understand & follow. You have certainly inspired me! I could say a lot more but I do not want to make this comment too long. My grateful thanks to you for what you are doing. I look forward to joining you on your next 'Everard Junction' journey.
Really enjoying your channel man 👍🏻 I recently lost my dad who was a big train fan and had an awesome N gauge layout. I plan to get all his old gear and rebuild a new layout in memory of him. Your channel is giving me all the knowledge I need to start doing this soon 👌🏻
I have been watching Everard junction for a few years now. and I must say your channel plus a couple of others inspired me to build my layout back in 2015. and I'm looking forward to the new Everard Junction and wish you all the best in the new build for years to come........regards Tony.
It obvious that we all love your enthusiasm and talents. We will continue to follow your videos during the development of your new creation-EVERAD JUNCTION
So nice to place a voice to a face at long last,So very informative.I shall continue to look in on your progress on the new build.I wish you all the success as much as possible. We all learn over time our mistakes hip cups along the way. Its nice to respect your grand father your layout after his name,.I am sure he would fill quite honoured if not proud. All the very best and good luck.Carol
Omg a face to the voice and hands. But on a serious note I started watching your videos about 2 years ago, and because of that I managed to convince my dad to build a layout in his double garage( it is heated and insulted). Tbh it's gotten a bit out of hand as we've got over 50 steam locomotives now and a rather large layout but it has been a lot of fun making it. I think you inspire people to get into the hobby by the informative videos you make. Keep up the good work, I look forward to the next post
I've been checking your channel for an update for the past three weeks. I can't wait to see what's coming up as I'm in the process of laying down a new 'n' layout and need some new scenic inspiration. Keep up the good work. 👍
First, I am so glad you're back on RUclips. Every couple weeks I found myself re-checking your channel for fear I'd missed something. Likewise while watching the demolition video, I was reminded of the fantastic detail you put into every scene and hope we will see more of those builds in the future as well. I love watching your videos, they are well done and the content is superb as evidenced by the magazine layout honor. My hats off to you Richard, you are a true "Craftsman". Cheers !
Wow, great video I like the question and answer format. I was glad to here that taking apart the old layout wasn't as emotional for you as it was for us! I know you have a ton of prep work ahead of you. It's going to tough for us have to wait until building begins in earnest! I enjoy watching British railway systems, its completely different than we have here in the states. I have a Brit rail HO engine and carriage from Lima that I was given as a child that still one of my prized trains. Well, from Wisconsin USA, I'll forward to your next adventure and thanks for bringing us along for the ride!
Don't every worry about replying to everyone, I never expect it. Really appreciate and enjoyed the update. Also do what comes naturally or by inspiration, we're in no rush, whatever happens is going to be fun and exciting to be part of, so a big thank you for wanting to share it with us all. Keep up the excellent work, always the one model railway channel I look forward to watching, even made a cuppa and a sarnie to sit down with lol.
Hi, I've spent the last few days watching pretty much most of your "How to" videos amongst a few layout update videos and I must say you and your what was current layout has given me much more inspiration than I ever imagined possible to move forward with planning my layout, If I can achieve 10% of what you have I will be impressed! Good Luck with the new layout and I look forward to seeing things develop!
You have produced an excellent layout and your footage of all aspects of the construction, control and operations is second to none. I look forward to seeing your new venture. Thank you.
Very informative. I am stateside but formerly from London. You and a few other UK you tubers inspired me to switch from US ho to OO. I have just finished the bench work and ordering stock from the UK like I have a money tree. To address one thing you said about a new system. I had an NCE wireless pro cab but now have the ESU Ecos and couldn't be happier. Your layout is more advanced and think this can do most of what you mentioned.. Cheers Peter North Carolina USA but born in Putney.
Very interesting and I can’t wait to see it. I am amazed that I am getting into this at 53. I have just completed my first board for a surprise birthday present and everyone seemed genuinely impressed with it. I am gathering materials for one for myself but as I live in a flat, I am keeping this at 5’x3’. It will be a challenge. I learnt how to do much of it from your videos so thanks. You are my reference. PS I used 9mm hardwood plywood with 2”x1” frame and it worked well. I had to get the board down the stairs and transport it 24 miles and nothing broke or fell off 😀
Hi,Richard.I am looking forward to when you start you're video's again as you have been an inspiration to me and I enjoy very much what you do and how you explain things it is just FAB.I know it takes time to do video's but they are great and thank you for taking the time to show everyone how it's done,Regard's,James.
Hi,Richard,I have watched you video's from the start and everyone has been Great.I can't wait until you start again your channel.I for one would donate money towards the new layout as you have helped hundreds of modellers to under stand the way things should be done on a model railway and a big thank you to you Richard. If you start a fund raising fund I would put a £10 note towards it and I think lots of true modellers who appreciate your efforts would do the same.£10 is well worth it for your idea's and video's that you show us.Best Regard's Richard and keep up the Fantastic work,You're No 1 Fan.James Ewen.( From Scotland.)
Great to see you back! Had been a bit worried that the car restoration had taken over. Initially I was sad to hear about the 'demolition' of existing layout but your plans for the new one sound amazing! Looks like we are assured of many months (or perhaps years) of your wonderful videos. Welcome back.
Oh no!! lol.....Richard's started a trend of face! Let hope he stops there. lol. Not sure if I want to show my face....I MAY be swamped by fans throwing their underwear at me next time I go to Model Rail Scotland!....life would never be private again! lol
Always love your updates and "how to" up-loads! ... Especially your thought process on how and why you do what you do.. and why you don't do what you don't.. As someone who just started to get interest in model trains about a year ago, I believe you were one of the first channels I found that was imediately hooked on! Hearing of you deciding to tear you layout apart was definitely an "OH NO!!!" moment!!! .. however with your amazing talent and gracious willingness to teach and pass on your knowledge I so look forward to what's ahead for Everard Junction! Also nice hearing your background info on how you chose the name for you railroad! :) Great work!
Everhard I look forward to you starting construction on your new layout. I enjoy watching and learning from your videos and wish you the best of luck. Keep up the good work and remember keep posting and I will keep watching!! Ed Portland,ND USA
Good luck with the new layout Richard. As I've said elsewhere you can never have to much insulation. Another thing I suggest to anyone with a layout room is a dehumidifier. Leave it on all the time on a low setting & it will switch itself on & off when the moisture content of the air reaches a certain level. It takes the moisture from the air & keeps the layout room at a reasonably set temperature.
Plenty of great ideas and I'm glad you're keeping some of the aspects from the old layout. I really like the sound of the passenger and freight lines. looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Cheers, Joe
I just recently stumbled onto your channel. It will take me awhile to check everything out. You are a super inspiration to the hobby. Great presentation, and a pleasant personality with a great narrator's voice.
Lots of great ideas, I started following your videos and subscribed to your channel when you started building the new depo/yard section, and I loved your layout ever since. It was very sad seeing it go, but given the issues you've got was obviously the right thing to do. Having saw your ability to model scenery and stuff, if you are gonna be able to implement only half of the ideas you have at the moment, it sure will be something really amazing to see. I can't really wait to see it coming alive and witnessing the rebirth as a phoenix of Everard Junction. Good luck and good work :)
Pretty much everything that you have as a spec sounds spot on.The open base board in my mind is genious - just finishing my room before I start! really looking forward to seeing it all take shape. totally agreed with simplicity and élégant running! thanks for the inspiration
looking forward to seeing the progress. I moved to a new house about 4 years ago and the plan was to build a layout in the loft.. time has come to get started. I too always looked into the L girder construction as I'm building a u shape layout of Exeter st davids and plymouth laira depot (fairly large loft I have) and want my return loops hidden below the scenic sections. L girder seemed the right choice.. don't come across many youtube channels who do this method - most are US channels - so it'll be nice to see a uk layout built this way. Good luck I'm looking forward to it.
Thanks for all you've done and I look forward to what is to come. I hope you build faster than me as it's taken 9 years to get from my ideas & plans to presently building my bench work. Best of luck.
Good to put a face to the voice. I'd say everyone is looking forward to the progress of your new layout. I know it's very time consuming and takes a lot of patience putting it all together. Good luck with your venture. Can't wait😀
Richard, I enjoyed this video. I was born in Watford and grew up there. I remember when Watford junction was a nice looking station and then in 1984 when I used it to get to college they started destroying it and built that lego block on top of it. I tried to create the 3rd rail Class 501 scene that ran from Watford to Bushey but made a mess of it and then Hornby Zero 1 computer control system ruined everything.Nice to see the face behind he voice, you're clearly a good guy!
Thank you so much for all your previous videos as a relative newcomer to the hobby I have found it nothing short of inspirational... I eagerly look forward to the future.
I love this stuff. I have never had a rail layout, apart from a clockwork tin train and little oval track Santa brought me when I was a young boy but I love watching you experts, especially you because of your clear presentation. On baseboards, I recently got given some Latvian Birch ply off-cuts that have 17 layers. It is wonderfully stable stuff that I use for woodworking jigs. If you would like to see a sample just send me an address where you can get a package and I'll fire a piece over. Also, as I said, I have no experience with layouts at all but your desire for a water feature and long bridge made me wonder would a long bridge at the front of the layout going over a river entering a lake or an estuary into the sea, allow you to get that feature? I see that in a couple of places on the rail journey from Dundalk to Dublin in Ireland with one really long run over an estuary at Maladide. Just thinking out loud. Best Wishes, Brendan.
Great video..! Thanks for taking the time to put it together for all of us. I'm really happy that you're considering the Faller Car System. I have done a great deal of looking into the system and am fascinated by it. One thing I would say is that if you plan to put ANY sort of moving vehicle system into your layout then allot of pre planning is certainly a MUST! I am looking forward to hearing about your experience and progression with Faller so I can avoid making the same mistakes! :) Well done overall and I'm quite excited to see what you're going to do. Cheers Andrew
You have really wet my appetite!! Can't wait to see what you come up with. Whatever it is - it will be well made and look the part. Good luck and hopefully see and hear from you soon.
Just wanted to say, you have been a massive inspiration to me in starting my own layout. Looking forward to seeing the new layout take shape. Thanks Paul
apologies for the notification as you have had too many but i was fascinated by your video and shall watch updates with a keen eye. I love the attention to detail you are involving in a new layout at Watford Junction which I used for work is a brilliant place for inspiration, I personally always love the little branchline and platform it has for heading east. M
Thanks for the update in your ideas fir the new layout. I particularly like the idea of block signalling, I think that will add to the realism. As I mentioned previously previously I would like to see proper main line trains (ie: ten or twelve coach units) running on your new layout. i wish you well, and look forward to seeing your next creation.
Excellent idea's, especially adding the 3rd rail. I have the same problem with my baseboards, but as I'm moving house soon it's giving me an opportunity to start again like your self. My be you could include some rail born industry, such as a cement works or scrapyard ect. A scrapyard is a great opportunity to experiment with heavy weathering of withdrawn locos and stock. Once again great work
The future of model railways is in technology so you have to get that right from the start. Running multiple trains intelligently is great but it's extremely time consuming in initial setting up and a fairly steep learning curve. it's worth having a good long hard look at Railroad and Co. Very comprehensive maybe the industry leader? Rudi's RUclips videos are excellent to see the possibilities. Good luck with what you choose am really looking forward to seeing your progress.
For me its DCC or no layout at all, theres no need for anyone to use primitive DC controllers anymore, with DCC you control the trains not the track, also sound, i wont run any train thats not fitted with a sound decoder.
Great to have a 'face to face' video. Great ideas there for the new layout too. I actually ordered myself a Faller starter set yesterday for the layout, I agree that moving vehicles add a great dimension to the layout. Good luck with the remainder of the knock down and all the best for the beginning of the new one! Cheers, Dan
From my point of view, hopefully this will mean more 'how to do this' videos.Your videos have taught me so much,be interesting to find out what else I can learn do to improve my layout.Educationally wise no 'how to' books come close to your videos.
Good luck with the new layout Richard. I'm sure you've been a massive inspiration to many, many people. Keep the updates coming on RMWeb too. Cheers Mike
top video , really looking forward to you building your new layout. I have used a couple of your ideas in the past so will watch to see what new ideas you come up with. Once again thank you for your time and effort. Steve from Birmingham
Hi Richard. Another very informative video, if you achieve half of what your proposing for the new layout I'm sure it will eclipse your original effort. Also glad your keeping the name, as you say a great tribute to your grandfather. Also looking forward to the detailing of the carriage shed. Good luck and thanks for the update.
Love some of these ideas - surely if you're going for the open frame, with elevated trackbed, you're not going to be quite so limited to a 2ft width as you would be with a fixed width table design. Must admit I look forward to seeing how this works out, as it's something I've been planning to do myself. I remember as a child (3-5) we lived in a block of flats overlooking Barking station, and the complex station entrance there on the west end. With the BR line to Fenchurch St, and the Gospel Oak branch and line to Liverpool Street, and London Underground wending it's own way through the complex - also they had the ex-GWR pannier tanks running the Underground night maintenance trains at the time. So I can appreciate a well designed station approach with a good viewing area near by.
The other thought I had if you model a large retail outlet, was that there are many examples where the store and parking lot is built on the old rail freight depot. When you add that to the desire of making it look like the railway was placed into the landscape, rather than the more common, landscape surrounding the railway - an organic approach to the store would be to maybe plan what the station looked like in the 1950's (pre-Beaching), and then delete the rail depot, but leave remnants around the edges of the parking lot?
Really encouraged me to think about starting my own layout just have to save my pennies as the trains are expensive. can't wait to see how the new layout progresses thank you for the videos
Loads of great ideas there Richard. I'd completely forgotten about Texas Homeware - fabulous idea to recreate one of their stores. Try and incorporate a Spud U Like and that's 1985 right there!
You're one cool young dude, eagerly awaiting your next video , although you appear to be half my age ,you are a very impressive with an abundance of excellent ideas. I have only recently taken up the hobby and have been using your achievements as my own personal tutor. I'm quite sure the next installments will be even better. Many thanks , Tezza (Hooterzville Rail)
Sounds like you're going to be very busy for quite some time! I'm looking forward to watching and learning as you bring the "New Everard Junction" to life. And please do post videos of the renovation of the loft as you can, I think that would be of interest as well. Cheers from the USA...
Looking forward to the new layout as the old one gave me ideas for things I would like to implement on my own future layout and maybe the new one will inspire me as well Thank you for the inspiration from Toronto, Canada
Hi Richard, just hoping your new layout plans are moving on and I'm looking forward to your new video. I have had a lot of help from you via your videos and have just put my first video up on you tube. All the best, Barry. Devon.
Nice interview with regards to your layout and your ideas and the concept you have on how to do things better and learning from your ....mistakes, if that the right word to use, not that any part was a mistake as it all looked great. Nice to put a face to the voice to! I never expected you to look how you sound lol you are a great inspiration to us all and a great RUclipsr to look up to on how-to’s etc. Great to see this video! One of these sum ups clips every 12 months would be good to see, on both what you enjoyed and what you disliked most or found the hardest to achieve. Thank you for all your hard work over the years of watching you produce such a great layouts, changes, improvements...etc! Top man to watch! Look forward to many more over the coming years.
I’ve just discovered your channel as I’m starting out in this, and I’ve been addicted. It’s all I’ve watched the past few days! Just got to this last episode and was gutted there’s no more! Still, looking forward to when it all starts again, and good luck!
Having just completed extending my shed railway I learnt that the best timber to use for bracing the baseboard is kiln dried. With less water content the wood is less likely to expand, contract, warp. All the best, Philip (Saltspring Railway)
Interesting plans! The interwebs tells us that Homebase bought out Texas in 1995, so that would fit. I was a teenager during Network Southeast days, and, from memory, the rise of the larger supermarket spaces we see today was more of a 90s phenomenon. A lot of supermarkets were still in-town/high street affairs in the 80s.
Hi Richard,I hope it's not to long until you are back on RUclips as I miss you're video's.I just can't wait to see what you are going to do with the new layout.Kind Regard's,Jim.
Hi Richard,I hope that you are getting on in the attic and things are coming along up there,I think that lots of people in this hobby are missing you and your videos because I certainly do.I hope you are back very soon,Regard's,Jim.
Working on it. Not had much time the last month, insulation is going in, baseboards have been designed. I hope to kick the videos off again in the autumn.
Hi Richard, there is no rush, this project will be a masterpiece and it will take year's to finish but will be well worth it, technology is moving at a very fast pace,so you will be spoiled for choice.. Many thank's Richard ,can't wait for the construction to start. kevin.
Hi ...no doubt the new layout will be fantastic and look forward to all your how to and update vids .....I think you are heights we all hope emulate.....cheers. Fred..... I think you did the right thing ..I guess a lot of railway modellers enjoy building and when done maybe start again , so way to go ..
hey man, I'm all the way from New Zealand and I really want this layout to be the best it can be! if it takes time to have it done really well then take your time mate! looking forward to seeing what this new lay out is going to be like. Best wishes Samuel P Parry
Hope you do get to implement the automatic block signalling. I had exactly the same issue you mentioned so designed and built my own system around the Atmel chip set. it certainly added a interesting twist to dual train running on a single line. Looking forward to seeing the new layout take shape as much as I enjoyed watching your old one.
The Lead-in pic is reminiscent of the Erewash Valley line in the 50s and 60s with its extensive pw slacks and lost paths! Good idea to rebuild. Brave decision and good luck.
On the question of baseboards I can from personal experience recommend Marine Plywood approximately 1.5 cms thick. Good luck and I will look forward to watching progress on your new layout. Greg Hale from Australia.
First off, I know you're swamped, so no response required! ;) After watching so many of your videos with the building of your old layout, very sad to see the old one go in your last video, but thrilled to think of the new videos to come with an even more "Starting from scratch" look at your new layout. Really interested to see what will be coming next, both in terms of video, projects on the way and your new track plan. Was thinking that it may be interesting to see some before and after shots, of elements from your old layout that were re-used in very different locations in the new layout. I will also be very interested to see what your research with the Faller system turns up. We have similarly looked longingly at the system but have not jumped in due to the price being prohibitive. Best of luck with the new startup, will be following eagerly!
Loving the ideas bud sounds like your off to a good restart I guess we can call it! Already started watching your new layout videos and so far loving them! I wait with anticipation for updates! :) Thanks Jordan
love your video's. not a model railway enthusiast myself, but enjoy seeing how you construct things. i would strongly suggest using WAGO connectors for the electrical side of things. not cheap, but can be made easily expandable. keep up the great content. all the best. chris.
Thanks Guys
Worried that you'd given up on us ;) great to hear your working on the layout again.
Also hows the car going?
if you haven't all ready done to much, would you consider bringing us along from the very start?
Brilliant
EverardJunction
I don't think I've ever looked forward to autumn so much
Every time I get on RUclips I always check to see if you have any updated videos. So glad to hear everything is well and look forward to your future videos. Can't wait!

I'm a US HO scale modeler but really enjoy your channel. I can learn new thing from watching videos.
What a great legacy for your grandfather. I can image how delighted and proud he would be!
Great video Richard and I just wish i had the time to build a layout but will have to share yours from a distance 😊

Yourself, DaveClass47, and Graham Foulston have inspired me to start my own layout asap! Thanks again for your series.
Good Luck with the new layout and I look forward to seeing things develop!
....I love the idea of naming the layout after your grandfather......very nice and touching tribute.......
I have enjoyed watching you videos for so long. Will miss the old layout but So excited for the new one
At last we see the face to the voice of so many wonderful tutoring videos to a fantastic layout.
I was very relaxed watching that....think it was the fish! lol Dave
was nice the fish and what nice young man you youngster have had me inthronged for years me being a young 66
Dave Class 47, I've watched all your videos. I think its time you done a face to face version now! I wanna put a face to that Scottish accent!
Oh no!! lol.....Richard's started a trend of face! Let hope he stops there. lol. Not sure if I want to show my face....I MAY be swamped by fans throwing their underwear at me next time I go to Model Rail Scotland!....life would never be private again! lol
I once accidentally got my own refection in one of my videos and lost 40 subscribers.
that's the risk!! lol
look forward to the start of a new layout it's been pleasurable watching your channel over the last few years all the best
All the best with the plans, can't wait to see it unfold with your inspirational ideas and attention to detail modelling skills.
It takes the moisture from the air & keeps the layout room at a reasonably set temperature.
have thoroughly enjoyed the journey so far and will enjoy watching it begin again
Plans sound great it's nice that you are able to use skills that have been acquired when building the old layout to build a better new one
it will be great to see the rebirth of Everard junction. I love all the ideas you have running through your head.
looking forward to seeing the progress.
Love those tropicals in the background!!
Sounds like you’ve got some great ideas for the new layout. Good luck with it. Look forward to seeing your progress, cheers, Stewart.
Thank you so much for all your previous videos as a relative newcomer to the hobby I have found it nothing short of inspirational... I eagerly look forward to the future.
So looking forward to this new build it's going to be like a new journey all over again .
Fascinating video. I used to have a Granada Coupe on an N plate which I bought new back in the day. Wonderful set of wheels. Cheers, Bob
Well done overall and I'm quite excited to see what you're going to do.
Thanks
Paul
apologies for the notification as you have had too many but i was fascinated by your video and shall watch updates with a keen eye.
I feel like I'm at the beginning of watching a great epic layout. Can't wait to see you start the new layout .
Best of luck with the new layout Richard, your videos are inspirational and a pleasure to watch.
A great big thank you to you, and the time you have spent showing us all new techniques. Keep up your great work phil
Good luck with the new layout Richard. I'm sure you've been a massive inspiration to many, many people. Keep the updates coming on RMWeb too.
Cheers
Mike
top video , really looking forward to you building your new layout.
Richard, it sound like it'll be brill, I can't wait for you to get started.
Watching Everard II take shape is going to be fantastic! Can't wait!
Sounds like you're going to be very busy for quite some time! I'm looking forward to watching and learning as you bring the "New Everard Junction" to life. And please do post videos of the renovation of the loft as you can, I think that would be of interest as well. Cheers from the USA...
Very interesting and looking forward to seeing the new layout. Loved the fish tank. Very relaxing.
Great update, we can't wait for the next one to see how Everard Junction Mk2 is developing!
Well done Richard.........😊
Nice that you've put your face on 👍
Looking forward for your new layout.
Cheers Stevie 😃
Can't wait to see some of these idea's in action. Just starting a new layout myself and correcting many mistakes.
Hi Richard, there is no rush, this project will be a masterpiece and it will take year's to finish but will be well worth it, technology is moving at a very fast pace,so you will be spoiled for choice.. Many thank's Richard ,can't wait for the construction to start. kevin.
Like your idea's & what your planning. Will watch with much interest as your new project takes shape. All the best.
Best wishes
Samuel P Parry
Look forward to your progress, and your voice depicted someone older...wise head on young shoulders Richard.
Great personal video! A face to a voice is always a good thing. Continue with it for your upcoming videos. Looking forward to the build.
First off, I know you're swamped, so no response required! ;)
After watching so many of your videos with the building of your old layout, very sad to see the old one go in your last video, but thrilled to think of the new videos to come with an even more "Starting from scratch" look at your new layout.
:) Thanks Jordan
love your video's. not a model railway enthusiast myself, but enjoy seeing how you construct things. i would strongly suggest using WAGO connectors for the electrical side of things. not cheap, but can be made easily expandable. keep up the great content. all the best. chris.
