My name is Alex Araya and I am a 27-year-old maker from Texas in the USA. It is great to have you here following along!
In this project, I built a Tall dresser made out of knotty alder. Super fun. I hope this video inspires you to go out there and make something for yourself. Let me know if you have any questions down in the comments :) Pura Vida.

For the drawers I cut a rabbit on the fronts and backs and a dado on the sides. The dado is quarter inch inset if using half inch stock. Then the rabbit will fit the dado.

To fix the side frame one option would be cut a 1/4” plywood panel to fit inside of the frames then trim it out with cove moulding

Yes! Great suggestion. I like the addition of trim!

I'm a beginning woodworker, and I've done this a few times, the upside is that you didn't pop a brad nail into your finger. Don't ask... lol
A simple solution would be to glue a thin strip of veneer on both sides to give a nice accent or contrast if you want to keep the chest in natural wood. Otherwise a bit of paint will cover the mistakes with the wood filler. Looking good though.

I think I would have opted for 2 knobs per drawer instead of one center one but that's just my preference.
Well done and enjoyable video. Thanks for posting.

Great build Alex! Curious where you buy your prefinished plywood for the drawer bottoms? I’ve made that same mistake with the length of Brad nails. Frustrating!

You can just add 1/4" plywood panel to hide the nails

Great Design.. But why On earth is everything after the 1980's So shallow in the drawer.. Add a couple inch's so people can get more then 2 pairs of jeans in.
