I was born in the beautiful country of Costa Rica in 1993. My entrepreneur heart has lead me to elevate my passion for designing, making, creating and above all, learning. From working with readily available wood products or exotic wood species to teaching the concepts i am currently learning, I have the passion to become a more knowledgeable person every day. My foundation for this channel will always be "Learn Often”

A couple of suggestions, I've built a lot of sheds and houses. Use pressure treated plywood for the floor - 3/4 " thick. It stands up a lot better than OSB. Far stronger and can take a bit of water unlike OSB which is a sponge. Flashing tape the windows!
Currently making a bench for a breakfast nook, well two benches. The longer of the two will have a length of 53" which is a 50" span I'm thinking since it's indoor that 2×6 material should keep from bowing but I'm not sure. Lol any feedback welcome
Simple..😂,, nope
Nice! How much would you sell it for or charge a client to build that exact one?
great idea to make storage under washer and dryer, but what is the point of removable back?
The client wanted to be able to remove baskets in the future. She agreed it may never happen but wanted to have the option. 😊 thank you for watching!
Great job and beautiful looking bench! 😀👍
Thank you for watching
Love that you owned Brad mistake. Helpful for us
It still hurts 😂
Nice work , Going start one next week , Hope my will turn out as good as yours ! ( New Sub ) Thanks . T / C Stay Cool 😎
Thank you for watching!
What is the thickness of the boards. Great video.

Hello having trouble pulling plans for the tall dresser can you send or attach to comments?
6:52 Eiiish! Want you to keep all your fingers my man!
Lmao Wen face planer. Ryobi miter saw And enter the Festool Domino cutter. Which tool do you suppose was sponsor supplied. 😂😂 (No offense bro...nice block😄👍) Nothin silkier than fine sanded & oil walnut.
I wished it was sponsored, I definitely had to save for that one though 😂 thank you for watching.
I watched your video and turned on the CC because I could not understand what type of nails that you were using. You say that you are using breath nails. What are breath nails?
lol. You shooting with your mouth. You should give it a try 😂 thank you for watching
That dresser is really nice brother! Where did you get the soft close drawer slides
I found a local hardwood dealer that carries soft close for way cheaper than the big box retailers. Dakota hardwoods
you call that simple??
link to the plans??
www.construct101.com/large-10x12-lean-to-shed-plans/
Is the best 👍👏👏
This bench is barely usable, wobbly GARBAGE! I know! Don't waste your money!
For the drawers I cut a rabbit on the fronts and backs and a dado on the sides. The dado is quarter inch inset if using half inch stock. Then the rabbit will fit the dado.
Looks great and I enjoy watching people work out of their garages! Super excited to view the rest of your work!
Thank you for watching!
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽♥️♥️♥️🇮🇩😊
Grate job.

This is great, Alex!
nice project..do you mind sharing the wood dimensions you used? it looks like a poplar wood, but just want to know the dimensions and wood type. i may want to replicate this project
Thank you for sharing. If You're really willing to share, THEN you need to share the measurements of your project. 😮🤔😠👎
Oh dam lol paint!
lol that’s one option!
Nice piece. Practical, too. Thank you.
Glad you like it!
I use a dremal tool with a little cut off wheel then put plastic wood putty on sand it off paint
Great idea
I would counter sink the nails back and if the aren't sunk on the inside who cars...mistakes are made. It happens.
Indeed! They happened but never enjoy them 😂
Music is not necessary...like your fast style..
Thank you for watching!! 😊
Great job what would something like this cost
Did I miss the part where you added the Tool Well?
Yes, I added that a few months later after the video. I think (it’s been a while)
For me it's beautifuly crafted
Thank you for watching!
Never use wd40 unless it’s the dry lube version.
Very basic joinery should be easy for any beginner! Love the alder trim you added. Great accent!
Thank you for watching!
Very nice.
Yeah man, you gotta put measurements in there.. and you didn’t even show how you attach the top bench part to the legs.🤷🏼
What were the measurements on the legs in cm? =)
I got it as well. I upgraded the hardware and made a few addons to help get as much space usage out of the drawers. All together still under $200.
Great job. Awesome
"The wife" oh boy Looks good its a awesome design. To distress it because the wood is so light, its worth painting underneath. Or you can stain. Then as you knock it back you have layers of the top layer, the stain or paint and the natural wood. More layers of paint the better. I really like the mesh you used. Thanks for the video.
Nicely done, outcome is excellent.
Thank you!
Pocket holes don’t hold up on pieces that don’t have a backing, the screws pull on the joint and that makes a cupping problem
Agree! It scares me when I see people make tops that jointed with pocket holes alone 😅
@@arayawoodworks that’s the worst way for sure, but the apron might keep it from buckling. I’ve used them to hold the face frame to the cabinet . And just saw someone hold drawers together
I'm trying to make a bench out of repurposed skid planks and was trying to figure out why my butt joints on the legs were crooked. This helped me so much! Thank you. I'm very new to this but loving it so far
Thank you for watching. I’m so glad it helped you 😀
Great Design.. But why On earth is everything after the 1980's So shallow in the drawer.. Add a couple inch's so people can get more then 2 pairs of jeans in.
Haha actually the drawers fit lots of clothes! But you can certainly make them bigger
Love the look, can’t wait to. Build it for my kids. Thanks for the kids
Thank you for watching!
You can use 1/4 " luan to cover the pops.
Great idea!
Do you think I should seal the ends of the MDF. Live in Houston Texas 25 miles for coast.
It certainly is up to you but I don’t think it’s necessary however you know your environment better
