- I go from start to finish how I made this Shaker-inspired 6 drawer dresser out of cherry with sliding dovetails, handcut half-blind dovetails, machine cut dovetails, and wide panel construction.

The music, the pace, the detailed explanation of process. What a treat.
Love hearing you talk about your woodworking. Your passion is obvious and contagious. Thanks Wil.
I love the attention to detail. I agree with you, the planning should take time if the project is to be as spectacular as this turned out to be...
Man, that came out nice! I really do like the exposed Dovetails, they really add a touch of class.
What a beautiful piece of furniture. I love the use of dovetails for the stretchers.
Enjoyed watching this art unfold. At the end, I must have gotten something in my eyes.
Super work Will, very nice indeed. plus a great story to watch.
Loved that grin when you put the oil on those drawer fronts. Beautiful work!
Absolutely beautiful design and construction. The Danish oil finish is one of my favorites for bringing out the wood's beauty.
Who dislikes a video like this?! Maybe those 5 people watched it in reverse so it looks like you just destroyed a beautiful dresser haha unreal craftsmanship, Will. Very Nice.
Love it, good looking dresser
I agree at what you said about the joiners.
That was one of the most relaxing woodworking videos that I have ever watched (except for the part where you're hand cutting the dovetails, with the suspense and the music, I briefly thought about lighting some candles and pouring myself a glass of wine). My wife wants some new dressers for our room and I'm definitely going to show her this to see what she thinks. Thanks for the great walkthrough!
I'm not usually a huge fan of dovetails, but those that you can see on the front of the piece are such a nice touch. Great build, Will!
I am glad that you use the mask when oiling. When I was doing the deck, at first I did not use the mask and I got the symptoms of bronchitis from the smell of oil. Deck oil has a different composition of course. I got to know the cherry making a table for my son - it's amazing. I also have a cherry snare drum - it sounds great.
OHHH!!! I love the parallel guide for the router! So obvious, now that you've done it!
Wow! Great job. I appreciate the entire process. Thank you for posting.
There are so many woodworkers to learn from on RUclips and here we are learning what and how and why. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, This is the best example of a craftsmans woodworking-your video was the best showing all the joints coming together and the final finished product. Great job-Thanks for sharing.
Leaving the underside rough sawn - brilliant not only for max thickness but just a damn cool touch. Bravo.
Still by far the most underrated woodworking channel on RUclips. Amazing content and cinematography.
Such a beautiful piece that anyone would be proud to own and pass down to family. I love cherry despite the high price these days. It’s a long term goal to make Shaker furniture for my home, at the level that you do. Very cool video. Thanks for the inspiration.
For me, equal to the quality of the build is the quality of the story of the build. Your narration is superb, and there’s very few who can compare. You show furniture making is a matter of delicacy and intelligence, and not a matter of how quick or hard you can hit a nail.
Great work. I loved the maple fix to the extra dovetails. Reassuring that I'm not the only one that does things like that.
As always, an outstanding video. The design was excellent as were your joinery choices. I really love working with cherry and watching it age. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful craftsmanship!
Those exposed sliding dovetails on the front are beautiful. Job well done
It looks awesome!
Like your style, nothing rushed. Cool build and you respected the wood.
Amazing process of construction. And the final product is absolutely beautiful! Congratulations.
Just beautiful!!!
Beautiful dresser, love the drawer fronts and great video as usual!
Very, very nice. Good job!
Well thought out. Well done!
So many nice techniques , and the router jig , while simple, no doubt is very handy. Great video !
I have learned a ton by watching your videos. I can't wait to try some of the things I have seen you do on a few projects.
Couldn't wait to watch this after seeing your updates on Instagram. Every video you put out is a joy to watch.
Beautiful piece of art that will last generations
Well done! Very very well done!!
The visual aspect is striking. And you cinematography is some of the best on RUclips! Thanks William!
Beautiful project, beautifully done.
Great build video, this is exactly what I like to watch on RUclips. Great videography and appropriate and correct volume of music. You are a great craftsman and that comes through in spades.
Loved watching you use the best technique and tool for each part of the build. I learned a lot
The grain continuity is just stunning.
Lovely drawers, very well executed. Well done!! Thanks for sharing.
I like the joinery utilized. A perfect fitting puzzle.
Really nice. I liked the continuous drawer front grain.
Stunning piece. Stunning edit. Bravo 👏👏👏
Beautiful piece.
Absolutely gorgeous. I don't think I could ever do what you do. I would want to keep everything I made.
My favorite part? Planing and scraping the surfaces. Nothing else comes close to the surface quality of these methods, and that lovely cherry deserved the best. A pristine surface, to channel Paul Seller :-) Clyde
Well done, I love it!... Great joinery design, similar to what I have in mind....
Beautiful! Incredible work
Outstanding piece. Love your attention to detail!
Beautiful piece love the dove's
Came out really nice. The little cove on the bottom of the top panel looks great.
Great project that demonstrates some wonderful advanced techniques, always a pleasure to see your final product.
Nice build Will. And some very nice cherry!
Woodworking masterpiece, it was such a pleasure to watch.
Thats a really nice piece.
Dude! Gorgeous! I agree about the pocket holes BTW. Keep up the great work.
Absolutely amazing work. I really enjoyed it.
Wow! Complete mastery on all levels. Amazing stuff.
Beautiful dresser bro !!
Another masterpiece! Your channel was a fantastic find and I ended up watching all your previous videos.
Looks awesome, Will. Great job
Beautiful work of art. Both the dresser and the video.
Brilliant. Absolutely love it. Great video.
Incredible craftsmanship. Well done.
Great Build. In my opinion, you are an artist...in wood and photography and words. What was my favorite part of the build? Yes. All of it. Especially like the use of poplar for filling in the mistaken dovetail. That, to me, makes a mistake into a beauty mark. And the 'nod to the sawyer' was a notable touch. Watching you work and listening you take us through the project made my day. Thank you for gifting us with your talents.
Great build Will! I love the variety of joinery methods you used.
That's a lovely piece Will - i like all of it.
Beautiful dresser.
About to start on a set of dressers myself. Just finished a project that forced me to practice my hand cut dovetailing. Seeing your project has definitely motivated me to include these features in my project. Love your work by the way. I've been watching your videos on camera gear and it has been extremely helpful. There's plenty of content out there about how to film people, but less so about how to film woodworking.
Beautiful work Will! 😍👍🏻👊🏻
That was so awesome. Love it!
Another excellent video. I always love your style!
Love my card scrapers, and spoke shaves.
Thanks for the super chill music - all volumes (music and voice) are very pleasant. Keep up the great content!
Awesome mate. You nailed this! Congrats 👌
Great build
Really enjoyed watching
Looks awesome Will!! Well done!
Love this build! The hot glue trick for the drawer fronts is awesome! I will be using that. Also a lot of other cool stuff I learned, but that was what I struggled with on the last piece I made.
Awesome piece and great video. I love the curve you added to the bottom stretcher - I’m going to try that on my next project.
Beautiful job Will! The sliding dove tails were my favorite part. Happy holidays!
I don't know, but watching this video is like a meditation. Love the shop, great atmoshphere.
Amazing work as always Will. Many blessings to you and your family this holiday season!
I rarely comment but your channel has quickly become my favorite on RUclips. Your blend of storytelling, practical knowledge and humor is great. Thanks and keep it up!
I love such simple things that look so beautiful
Wow, just wow. You are a master. Absolutely beautiful piece.
Well said sir.
Very nice. I have a plan on the bench for the shaker dresser that I am building for my wife and I. It will be a very large build. I am with you on the raw unfinished surface under the top. I have been known to do this as well unless requested differently from past customers. Great job. Beautiful piece.
Buity nice work i love all the proces
Very nicely done. Specially the joints, creative, smart and very well executed. Inspiring- no clamps! LOL
epic epic epic build!!!! absolutely love and look forward to your videos...
I just keep saying. “Wow, wow... oh wow”. You sir are a master carpenter
Beautiful. I love oil finishes.
I've got an older version of the same P/C dovetail jig and built about a 10" tall riser for it. Much less stress on the back when making lots of drawers.
beautiful end result, no question about it. i was stoked to see you use sliding dovetails -- even though i'm a beginner at this, i have had 2 really good experiences using sliding dovetails on different projects, though in both projects they were hidden when finished. man it's so satisfying to feel the joints slide into place and have everything be square and flush! i'm hooked. great video and thanks for the inspiration!
Love your videos man. You tell a great story. Great music, shots and overall energy. I'm learning a lot from your style. Thanks! This is a great project.
I like this channel. I would appreciate less or no music and/or lower volume if you must.
Love it! Awesome work!
Excellent build indeed! With the exception of using router cut dovetails on the drawers , this is probably the best most solid build I have ever seen on youtube. Well done and thanks for sharing!
