SUPER MARIO WORLD 2: YOSHI’S ISLAND (PART 6)
We return one more time to Yoshi’s Island after completing the game to work on our Retro Achievement’s mastery. Last time we spent time working on some random achievements while earning 100% on World 2 and World 3. The World 3 Extra Stage was, by far, the worst stage in the game and a completionist nightmare!
This time we hope to finish up by earning 100% on World 4, World 5, and World 6. Can we earn our next Retro Achievements mastery in Yoshi’s Island and complete this challenge?
STORY
A long time ago in a far away world, a pair of twins were born and on their way to be delivered by the stork. Kamek, grand mage of the Koopa Kingdom and servant to the newborn Koopa King, foresees a future where the Koopas and these twins are at odds with each other and even triumphs against the Koopa Kingdom. To prevent such a prophecy from happening, Kamek and his minions rush out to ambush the stork and kidnap the twin brothers.
With lightening speed, Kamek rushes in but only manages to grab one of the twin brothers, the other plummets to the sea below. While Kamek races away with one baby and the stork, the other baby falls towards an island and lands onto a Yoshi who was enjoying a morning stroll. Discovering this baby who fell from the sky, the Yoshi returns it to his tribe and the friends decide to help find the baby’s home; but unaware to the Yoshis, Kamek’s minions are in search of the baby with a demand to capture him.
Who are these twin brothers? Why are they so important to the Koopa Kingdom and to Kamek?
