Amazing explanation, are you able to email me those two diagrams of the refrigeration cycle? One without the reheat and the one with it. I need those for the paper I’m writing if your okay with it
@@HVAC-TVI wonder if it would be worth it to create a universal hot gas reheat kit to be retrofitted into systems. Need a coil, 3 way valve, solenoid, controls, and a little engineering magic.
Great video!
Quick, straight to the point - as always! Thank you
Thanks for watching!
These short videos are really helpful. Straight to the point. Keep it up
very good explanation.. thanks Tony.. it was really entertaining..

Do they make kits to retrofit a unit to provide reheat? When calling for reheat does that lower the overall capacity of the unit?
I’m not aware of any kits and it does not lower the capacity. If anything may add a tiny bit. Thanks for asking!

Does the reheat coil require a metering device?
Typically there is a sporlan modulating 3 way valve. Thanks for watching!
Is it possible to disable that valve from operating?
Yes.
