    I have a Goal Zero 1000 & Jackery 500. One big factor to keep in mind is the quality of Inverter. Portable generators have surge thresholds that they’re rated at. For example, some 500 units (like the one from Bluetti) have lower surge ratings, so the types of appliances that can be powered are very limited. I personally like Goal Zero, Jackery, and Eco Flow as the industry leaders.
    Eco Flow has a unit with optional parallel battery “expansion pack.”

  • @78business

    Seem as though 2 jackery 1000 would be ideal so that while one is in use the other is charging so you will never run out of power.

    So I know it’s going to completely depend on how much you use it, but is there a way for you to explain how long the power lasts typically?

    • @tylerbaird7287
      @tylerbaird7287 2 года назад +1

      depends on how much you pull off of it. you have to look at all of your appliances to calculate it. if you only pull 1 watt per hour then it'll last 1500/1000/500 depending on which one you choose.

    • @MrSupernova111
      @MrSupernova111 2 года назад +1

      That's impossible for someone to answer for you without knowing how much power you consume. Best thing is to figure out how much wattage each unit you need to charge consumes and add it up. Wattage is usually an hourly measurement.

  • @jessicaa86
    @jessicaa86 3 года назад +10

    What do you do with your solar panels to charge them? Do you put them on the top as you drive, leave them out when you camp, or put them in your front windshield?

    • @ian.and.ana.
      @ian.and.ana.  3 года назад +8

      We charge them three ways!
      1.) Put them out when we are camping
      2.) When we are parked at state park/national park, etc we leave one on the top of our transit connect and no one has ever taken it haha. It's super thin
      3.) We just started putting one in our windshield and it's amazing!!
