You should try using your university official email if you are a student or company data if you are a working employ. I know it's a pain since AMD acquired Xilinx they restricted the use of tools.

In vivado, navigate to Tools -> Settings -> Vivado Store -> Board Repository and add your board file path.

I found it! In Vivado, navigate to [Tools] -> [Settins] -> [Vivado Store] -> [Board Repository]. Then, add the specified path.

Probably you can repeat the process that I explained in the video. Download the board files and copy them to the installation location.

Hi There, QuestaSim is a simulation software so you can't generate a bit file in it. Thanks!

@@GetitQuickly sir xiline also a simulation software right.. but in this software we are able to generate bit file

@@kv8536 AMD-Xilinx has a Vivado Design Suite which has an integrated simulator along with the sythesis and P&R engines that's why you can simulate your design in Vivado/Vitis and generate the bitstream because you can synthesis and impletment your desing. While QuestaSim or ModelSim doesn't have the synthesis and P&R engines so you can not sythesis and implement your design to generate bitstream. Hope that helps :)

Oh dear, I have I have explained this in my video that the highlighting in Notepad++ is always temporary and meant to be for development and debugging your code type of thing. Since, it is always a text file editor, so it doesn't help storing any other information in .txt files. Hope that explains your query :-)

Hi there, Sorry for late response. You just need to do 2 clicks to have this enabled. 1- Click on 'Extras' from menu bar 2- Scroll to second option 'Starting as' 3- Click on 'Use last view' And boom you will have this magical explorer keeping your location opened.

You might want to use groups to achieve this, In the Q-Dir's menu bar, 1- Click 'View', then scroll to 'Group by' and click 'Date modified', then repeat the same and click 'Descending' 2- Click 'View', then scroll to 'Sort by' and click 'Name', then repeat the same and click 'Ascending' Hopefully it would do something similar that you want. :)

It does work with shared drives as well. I have a network shared drives in my work and I use it very frequently with Q-Dir so for sure it works. :)
