A quick glance at how to install ModelSim PE Student Edition Version 10.4a
Steps:
1- Type Modelsim student edition
2- Open up the first Mentor.com link
3- Fill in the information to have an email containing the setup download link
4- Download the setup and install by clicking a couple of 'Next' until 'Finish'
5- Once finished it will automatically direct you to another fillable link where you need to provide your information and email address to receive the License
6- Use the same email address here that you used to have a download link
7- Once finished, you will get an email containing your License
8- Save the license to the installation directory
9- You are good to go

@@GetitQuickly follow the video step and you will find it . This edition is unavailable now in mentor.com and we can't download it

I don't think so anyone can send you the setup as I have shown in the video that the development company used to send an email containing your academic license. Probably they haven't been offering the free version for a time being because of merger happens. Not sure if it is available now but you can give it a try.
