GMC Jimmy: Classic K-10 ride, good luck on the project, gentlemen. Hope you get it back on the road soon.
Come on man you know you got a square body secretly hiding it somewhere as you sit in making engine noises late at night dreaming about driving it na I'm kidding that is probably what I would be doing lol anyway I like all Chevy trucks I will say I like 67 to 72 the best
No haha squarbeody ain’t it, why settle for anything but the best ones! ‘67-72!
awesome truck, love these old truck
Did you drop that vw off at slugbug in Custer ?
Not sure, Deven will have to chime in on that one! It was a friend of his who has a small shop in his backyard.
im with ya 67-72 my favorite to was hooked when i bought my first in 1995 and you can never have too many rusty trusty old chevys love your vids keep saving them from the crusher cause once their gone ya cant bring em back
Nice blazer well my soul blazer
Date code should be stamped on that ratchet by the part number.
So where this lot at ? Name of town , phone no#
Monroe Washington! Millennium motors
Nice find
Great video Jake. Your First truck the K5 looks perfect.I love these trucks and blazers and learn something new about them everytime I watch one of your videos.
What year is it up there, last time I saw that many trucks that model in one place was in the early 80s
There are More ‘67-72 trucks here in Washington state than there are anywhere else in the world!
@ I believe it, I wouldn’t be able to contain my self, wander why so many of them were bought there or maybe y’all’s state didn’t have , cash for clunker deal, like my state did
@@thruitallauto2538lots of farm and agriculture in Washington, as well as weather adventure and mountain passes. People needed a truck here so it’s what they bought back in day
Your favorite is the action line bodystyle and mine is the the obs and the nbs bodystyles...
Nice Jimmy, I live couple hours away from flint. All these trucks rusted away around here. You’re living in a great area with all those beauties.
It’s my favourite color !
I know! It has your name on it!
Great one. Keep going. You never stop when youre on a heater
first
Have u pulled a gooseneck /5th wheel with any of your 67-72's ?and how much rear clearance ?thanks
Man those original wheels just fit that truck. Maybe if they were green I would like the new ones more, but damn those original wheels are good
Is there a part II and on yet? Just found the video and was hoping to watch it finish. Good stuff
I don’t stoop to that level. RE:square body……lol found that humorous 😂
Where in Wa are you guys? I’ve got a ‘72 that I think I’ll do the wipe on clear over blue paint. Looks cool
In oroville Washington
Thanks for the info. I have two 67 GMC K20's I was debating about getting a lift for one of them. One still has the 305 V6!
What is the color?
Dude! Thank you for the cab light shout out! This truck is really shaping up to be an awesome rig! Can't wait to see some color on it
O he had a good working NL2 gas tank? Or did you use a blazer-Suburban tank. I would love to see a video on this. I want to move my tank out of cab.
This truck look good
if you ever want to sell this truck please let me know i love rare American iron like that
Great! Thanks for bringing it back.
This is bad ass!
👍
Love that truck. I’ve had two of this body style trucks. Use to have a 1969 Custom 20 w/ tach, air, 396, 400, free floating rear axle with leaf springs. Was not a 4x4. Now I have a 71 K10, 350, granny low, both trucks came with marker lights. I found a set of the hockey puck style for my new truck, like my old truck was special ordered with
They both sound like really cool trucks!! Gotta love the marker lights!
Are the 35x12.5 close to rubbing anything?
i wood never put that thin ass atf in mine
Neither would I , but as a explained often times when the adaptor seals go bad the trans starts pumping it in there anyways
What’s the width and offset of those wheels?
They are pro comp 18x9 Inch wheels, off the top of my head I’m not sure of the exact offset
Do the 35x12.5 fit without cutting anything?
Depends on the width and the offset of the wheels
Looks like it's going to be another great build.
Did GM paint their transfer cases from the factory?
Yes these years np205 were typically a red oxide color.
@ interesting. Thank you!
Very cool truck!
Beautiful work Jake. I like all the factory touches to the truck. The bed floor is nice. What did you go with on it?. I need to replace the wood floor on my 71 c20
“Bed Wood” is the manufacturer of the wood itself, with the steel parts of the floor are all from Mar-K
@GoldCityTrucks thank you
so cool. you go! gonna be badass
I put those cab lights in my cab. Truck is still in a working progress. What size tires are in the 4 inch lift?
35x12.50 18
What size lift does it have?
4 inch ORD lift
Hey I have a 72 k20 I’m a younger guy and I’m looking for a single seat option instead of a bench seat. Just wondering if you knew of somewhere I can get some
So sick
Glade the 68 LB 4x4 I purchased had the 6" lift springs figured out already. I went to see what was available for lowering it to a 4". Yup no springs are available aftermarket. I rebushed the rear springs with Poly bushings. The problem I ran into is that all the bushing kits. The sleeves are too short by .250-.350" and then the bushings end to end installed were too wide. I had to purchase DOM tube with the correct wall thickness to make my own sleeves. Then turn off .050" off of each bushing. Now they are fitted properly and slipped right into the shackles and frame hangers. Without doing those few things it would have been a hillbilly hack job that would show it's ugly face when you wouldn't expect it. 😂
Love old vintage fire trucks
Gimme ol red
Did Napco use a New Process transfer case on these or was that too early? Im assuming its divorced?
Large divorced rockwell transfer case
Is there a second video on this rig?
Square body junk is right. I look forward to following the k20 progress
Already have a couple more Videos filmed on it , just got to get them Edited…. So there will Be more very soon !
I really want to get a diesel swapped 67-72 medium duty truck. I think that’d be so much fun to drive. My buddy’s boss has a 71 or Maybe 72 c-60 that they swapped onto a school bus frame. Has a dt466 international diesel and a Allison transmission. Has a ramp body on it and they use it as a car hauler. It’s my favorite thing ever except i wish it was a manual.
Yes Bowdy miller built that truck. It is cool! Autos are great if you aren’t doing Extreme hauling. You just put it drive and go!
@ yup I’m friends with bowdy! And I agree. Have you seen his Coleman international loadstar? He got it off the Iowa state fair not too long ago.
@@Oldfarmersgarageyes, it is also very cool. He’s tentatively planning on coming to the truck party this year!
@ very cool! I’d love to come one year
