Wow ! I got a 67 and 68 K-20 Thats two 3/4 Ton Trucks that are 4 X 4 Originally had 17.5 tires and Rims I got the 67 in 1987 and the 68 was in 1996 Also have a 67 C -10 Always like these Trucks Always will !
I still remember the day my dad came home with a brand new 68 K10 3 on the tree and a 327. I bought it off him around 85 and drove it until around 05 when i got a new pickup. Frame was still good but the body was shot after spending it's life in Minnesota
Your k5500 is what brought me to your channel. What a truck! The 67 thru 72 chevys are my favorite And, like you, I'm always on the lookout for another. Keep it up.
I have a 1968 GMC 910 that I previously dropped a 292 in. It was a great motor until the thermostat stuck once and it overheated. Unfortunately the engine life was short lived thereafter. I suggest you also check your thermostat and avoid repeating my downfall.
Show us actual differences from 68 to 67, i know about the 67 small back window thing, but is there other ways , from numbers to tell the difference,?? Thanks BigAl California.
Sorry I Likely won’t do carb rebuild videos. Too many little Steps and parts. And I’m not expert enough on them to really feel comfortable giving advice on them. I know just enough to get into trouble!! Haha

The people's loved that body style, in the mid 70's there was alot of JC models roaming the streets.
Great score Can’t find many like that here in Tennessee anymore
Very cool truck. I'd keep the old 6 in that one.👍🏻

Big back window '67 even! [edit] 10 seconds later I hear your description of it being a '68.

1971 K10 owner here.
Yes! Merch in the works!! Hopefully launching some stuff soon
@@GoldCityTrucks Excellent, thank you!
The earliest version of that carb is much easier to rebuild in my opinion. I don't know why they changed it.
My truck has that exact same pop-riveted square in the bedside too! Same side and everything. What is that and why is it there??
Dealer/aftermarket installed side saddle gas tanks, very common addition to these trucks back in the day
