Use a spray bottle with warm water as you sand it keeps the sand paper clean and gives you a better idea of how deep in the clear you are . Great video man cheers from idaho. Ghost money signs would be cool . And you know when it's all sanded when the water sticks to it if it rolls off its not sanded enough.

IMO the SN95 looks better, rides better and handles better than the foxbody Mustangs. Being a perpetually broke racer wannabe, anything you can share on saving money will be much appreciated. Also any info on stock suspension improvements will be welcomed.

Dig your channel, I have a similar setup working in my garage in northern Wisconsin. When I replaced carpet in the house I put a piece in the garage as kind of a joke. Ten years later that carpet makes working on the car a ton more enjoyable when it's cold.

*adds a few corrections* the 79/80 mustangs came with a 200ci straight 6, You forgot the turbo i-4 also, The fox chassis started in 78 under the fairmont and it's clones. 351w in the cobras. The dreaded and much hated 4.6 2-3-4 valves...seems like half of them have ls's or bbc's anymore. Also the quickest stock chassis mustang as far as I know was fletcher cox's he went 3.86 and 214mph or something silly a few years back, see the video on 1320.

Need to put a lead sheet close around the distributor top around the forward side of wires and distributor to see if a lead shield will keep the emf from fuel injection sniper system experiment to see if will help out you can pick lead up real cheap at a hardware store and it comes in different gauge and it's real soft and malleable so you can shape cut it with scissors sometimes hand shears for sure it's great to work with just wear cloth gloves when shaping with yours hands.

I have owned many foxbody's from 1979,1983, 1986,1988 1990 I have even owned it's cousin the Mercury Capri but I have never owned a mustang newer then a 1990 and most of them were LX or GT the 83 I had was a L it had the 3.8 V6 and the 79 had the 4 banger turbo actually it was a 79 Pacecar

I got a 94 gt t5 that I have had for 28 years love it the chassis is much stiffer than on mine 79 fox body

Talk about the tuning options … I currently run two ford small blocks in early broncos - 347 stroker, port matched and polished gt40 intake with dart heads (CBAZA computer with quarterhorse), and have a 5.0L running Sniper 2 with full trick flow top end (just started it today) I Like the Moates but Unhappy with the quarterhorse because they out of business now and when it dies my tune is toast. Sniper 2 on my other 5.0L I like it so far but damn lots of faulty parts and recalls on this setup - really unhappy with the reliability of the parts that come and quirky tune options Would love info on your EFI/tune setup

Had the 2.3L I-4 in a Ranger. That engine low-RPM out torqued the V-6's, in that era, (1988), in my test drive opinion. Neighbor up the street had a 2.3L that was turbo'd in a Thunderbird... Was amazed to see, (and hear - the turbo whistle); Ford doing that. Good memories. 👍

I recently worked on a dodge journey from Michigan and EVERYTHING was rusted. Bolts either wouldn't come loose or they would strip trying to get them loose. Buddy had some moron working on it before me. Stripped a couple lug nuts. Me standing on the breaker bar at 140lbs wouldn't break them loose. Dude stripped three bolts on the tranny pan. Someone cut the spare tire holder so you couldnt raise a spare tire back up. Body mounts were almost gone from rust. That was my second vehicle I've ever worked on that was rusted from snow. I'm in Arizona so I dont ever deal with that mess
