I did some work for a guy that owns an Amazon resale store he called me up about 2 months ago and asked me if I wanted the R6 mark ii. I was actually waiting for the R5 Mark 2 to come out because I have the r5, the r7, and the r8. But, I folded when he let me pick it up for $1200!!! Being an R5 shooter I love the camera, the R6 Mark II that is. Now I will say this. I just bought a second or five for $2,000 with five batteries and a cage. It only has 10,000 actuations on it which is nothing compared to the way I shoot. If I had to pick between the R6 Mark II or the original R5 for $2,000 I would definitely take a used R5

This is bs. Use this lense its good . If u are profesional and i mean PROFESIONAL meaning u make ur living off pictures then no . If u are average joe its perfectly fine. Fine tune the pics with lightroom and u are ok w this lense

We love the Pocket 3! Shot everything on the channel with it, definitely makes stabilization easy and pairing the mics with it is too simple not to use for vlog / travel videos. I’ve seen a few including yours with having it record locally on the mic as well, do you have any noticeable improvement doing it that way instead of just using the audio that goes to the receiver anyways?

My response might throw some folks off. First off, i sold my Canon R5 about 2 yrs ago, and now own and shoot with two R7's. This was a great decision for me, as i shoot mostly small birds where reach is my #1 priority. But for pretty much everything else, I think Full Frame is a better choice. My R7's have so many issues that have to be worked around, but I dont have any choice. Most people do. I think most folks would be better off with the R6 or R6 Mk II... Or R8.

Thanks a lot for this video. You are absolutely right, sensor size isn't a particularly meaningful decision factor when purchasing a camera. That said, you repeat that full frame is better for shallow depth of field, which is true only in specific contexts, and your first reason is exactly one of the contexts where APS-C has shallower DOF: if you are using the same lens, you will have a shallower depth of field on the APS-C camera than on the FF camera (because of the scaling factor between sensor size and final image size).

I do street photography. My needs include a small and lightweight body plus lens. I want more of the frame in focus. Of course I can create this effect using the aperture. As you point out, the IBIS is better with crop sensor than full frame. My lenses are cheaper than a full frame lenses. For me, crop sensors rock. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

What are the other lenses you use on this ?Sigma 18-35 is very heavy with the adaptor. I struggled after buying this. Because, best the quality lenses are mostly in fullframe category. Once you started using it in various scenarios including low light, you will realise that You are in damn need of a full frame. Possibly fuji and sony have better apsc lenses than canon. Buying Canon RF apsc is a big mistake... until sigma makes a better cover.

So I have an R5c as my main camera and am looking for a good B cam for photo / video , idk if I can justify getting the R5ii for $4600 after tax when I can get an r6ii for $1,999… R5c is my fav camera rn, stills are unbelievable and I have zero issues with video, will I notice a huge downgrade with an r6ii? Or do you think it can it work

I like watching videos where I can see different knockoffs. If it looks well made, it saves time and I can reconsider if I really want to buy it kislux , or buy the real thing. It would be great to keep watching more videos like this if you have the time.

Did the same thing but it shakes when I tilt it on roll axis. Even after balancing perfectly. Any solution?

I have Rs3 mini gimble and i have made it in a vertical setup by removing the horizontal arm of gimble, but I face a problem like when I tilt my gimbal the roll axis shakes and rotates to left and right even after Balancing it perfectly. Any solution?😭

GREAAAT! So can you be recording simultaneously audio from a shotgun mic on your camera (as you showed the Sennheiser) and also recording audio from the second DJI mic 2 wirelessly at the same time? Meaning that the second mic is clipped on a clothes of the subject you are filming?

It doesn't look sleek compared to most other monitors. Buttons on front is ugly when they usually are hidden underneath and also the rulers in the bottom makes it look less sleek as well. Its a great monitor but I would not at All call it sleek compared to most other monitors.

"Actual diffusion panel" is literally aluminum frames from home depot for $40 with a bed sheet renamed as "diffuser" and marked up because its for "film". My good guy, you are doing what needs to be done and I like the method and honestly, you wouldn't know the different of a bed sheet from the overpriced scrims sued correctly. Love the video and lighting you did man. Also that last video... IT'S STRONG AS THE OTHERS! Stop questioning your work. "documentary" does not have a certain limit on looks and feels and how strong. Docus possess many elements of a story that varies. Share it if you wanted too and trust your work!
