We love the Pocket 3! Shot everything on the channel with it, definitely makes stabilization easy and pairing the mics with it is too simple not to use for vlog / travel videos. I’ve seen a few including yours with having it record locally on the mic as well, do you have any noticeable improvement doing it that way instead of just using the audio that goes to the receiver anyways?
Nice one! Love that the pocket 3 is amazing and makes everything so easy, I only record locally for a backup or if I'm in a very noisy environment because it has the 32 bit float but I've not heard any difference apart from that feature
Great video bro! Watched it while editing some photos. QUESTION, what settings are you using on your DJI Mic2, the audio sounds really good, a bit fuller than mine, is that the raw sound or do you adjust a few things in post? Thanks dude!
Thanks man really glad you enjoyed it! I found my mic was very loud so for that vlog I set the gain down to -6 or -8 and then I play around with the equaliser in post to add that bass and clarity. Sometimes I play with the dynamics and add a limiter and compression I think but I think a lot of it sounds great because I hold the mic directly towards my face as well. I hope this helps!
