I don’t agree with your view. For Makongo, Dalila’s role is more about care and protection rather than feeding. Makongo is primarily bottle-fed by the zookeepers 🍼. Dalila has accepted Makongo, taken care of him, and worked to integrate him back into the troop as quickly as possible.

How old is Lomako? I love Dalila so much I’ve never seen another Gorilla that looks like her. Lomako is very lucky to have her in his troop and she has done so much for her species. A super mom and foster mom like Freddy from Cleveland. I’m also so interested in watching Nala she is extremely emotionally intelligent. Glad Dalila has her around for help as well.

I didn’t see the gorillas gather around Tamidol’s body to mourn after her passing, but the zoo did release a statement explaining the situation. After Tamidol’s death, family members were allowed to enter her room to help the gorillas understand what had happened.

You can look back at my previous video. During Tamidol’s final moments, Nala and silverback Lomako were often lying on the ground beside her, staying close to Tamidol. Of course, at that time, we didn’t know she was already very seriously ill.🌈🦍🙏🙏🙏♥️

Different countries, different rules Import/export of food is already a tricky subject so you can imagine that live animals is a whole other nightmare Even in the US where zoos tend to work together there are plenty of bachelor groups because sometimes the males are not a good match for the females and sometimes there's just no space to house them The worst sin in Japanese zoos is 2 silverbacks sharing the same space WITH females around causing an endless fight over mating rights When silverbacks are housed without femaled they tend to get along just fine

Our zoos don’t trade with Japanese zoos because animals have no protective rights in Japan.
