Good film .you have 2 great mowers there that will still be in service in another 100 years,
I would love to see some HISTORY WITH ALEX CONTENT ⛺️🌲
I have a jolly chip but it's in a different outfit and also it's rotten And the paint is chipping off It makes it creepier
Great stuff! I have a Valor Safeway 410 Radiant Heater. Think it’s a 1960s version. It has a tap to open and close the fuel supply, and a lever to turn flame high or low. It puts out 7500 btu an hour at max setting. It can burn for 33hrs on a gallon of paraffin at maximum setting. Though the glass bottle only holds 4 pints. It also has adjustable levelling feet on each corner as it has to be perfectly level to work properly. Thank you for making this terrific video 👍
Thanks very helpful, but half wat through why the music😊?
Talking to a future me
Would loved it if you had placed a thermometer on them for test 😊 seen one on gumtree (which led me to your video) Much appreciated
Thank you, an excellent video. FYI in the UK you need to use C1 grade paraffin/kerosene for heaters and lamps used indoors. This is cleaner than C2 paraffin, which is for externally vented boilers and external pressure lamps (e.g. Tilley/Bialaddin) etc.
I've just got one of these off of ebay and found your channel to work out how to use it. Brilliant, love this, I'm following you for more of you presentations,
what is that cylinder at the front, / and the other one?
Good demonstration, I just bought one a Vintage type the same one you have four blades. I had no idea how to use until you demonstrated in details. thank you
is it suppose to touch the other metal part? so true about how precise cuts the grass compare with the petrol mower, it leaves the grass and turns yellow, and long cuttings
Brilliant Technology
Nice
Many years ago, I arrived at my brother's shared house. Just as he was carrying a paraffin heater out of the front door that was covered in flames. He put it down on the driveway, whereupon the glass tank broke and burning paraffin flowed out. I noticed that the paraffin heater had newspaper inside the base, so I suspect that it had been leaking for some time. Always keep your paraffin heaters well maintained. On the other hand, I have started using the modern style of radiant paraffin heaters again, and find them very good. I just miss having the Pink Paraffin man and his van. Who would stop if you put a pink "P" sign in your window.
You confiscated two knives from me, I touched your mustache, had a wind-up dynamo powered radio, and tried to convince you that I was your favorite camper two years ago at mountain camp. I also I took 4 minutes and got within 9 feet of a squirrel eating a pinecone but you don't remember that unless you do because I forgot who told me to stop standing around, unless no one did and it was just a group of kids that walked by and the squirrel ran away. I tried to play the brass pipe you brought there but it wasn't a flute and had a dark green monocular. You sang us Bully in the Alley and played the bagpipe to wake us up then played pirate pop music until we left the cabin. If you remember Kyle and Zach and Logan, I was with them. I was going to call you Charlie but the rest of the comments said Alex. I remember Trey's name though. I hope you remember me but now I can't remember who Charlie is. I subscribed.
Oh the memories. My mum had one. She then changed to Twin Tubs. ❤
Well I'm just off to the local charity shop to buy one of these hot water bottles. Primary for use as a foot warmer while watching TV
is not pusher mower, they are all push mower, so need to say ''push'', someone has made it up, the real name is 'Reel mower'. Good information, thank you, I love the Vintage music
depends where it in world you are, they have many names
Stephen king mojo.
Who' he??!!!
Could you give me the definition of paraffin? In the USA paraffin wax is mostly used to seal canning jars. Are you using lamp oil, kerosene, or gasoline?
kerosene
10 to 12 mins adequate washing time for a agitator to clean a load
I got one that's supposed to run on benzoline, it seems it cant be found nowadays since it was made from coal, how can I replace it?
paraffin or kerosene
thanks a lot :) I assume pataffin could give better results as its less "greasy" and leaves less soot etc, am I right?
Thanks for a great video. I wish I could show you the Easy washing machine from South Africa. I have a couple of them but they need fixing to run again. Wish you were close by to help me as pipes etc would need to be modified. I look forward to seeing more of your videos!!
thank you for watching , more videos coming soon
In America, Parafin is a wax. So is your Parafin and oil or gas?
its oil, basically kerosene
I need one of these, my modern washers alway break down and we are left washing the family’s clothes in the sink or bath tub some times weeks on end whilst waiting for an engineer and parts or the next new washing machine. Some times I think having something like this in the laundry room as a back up would be great
In the 1950s Japan began rebuilding and expanding its war-devastated consumer goods manufacturing base which would lead the Asian nation into unprecedented wealth and prosperity by the 1970s. Among its rebuilt and modernized consumer manufacturing industries was Japan's re-emergence into the lucrative toy manufacturing industry. Among the initial wide plethora of cheap, popular Japanese toys was the toy monkey, either a wind-up key version or battery-operated. These toy monkeys would later go under the names of, "Charlie the Chimp", "Charley the Chimp", or as one sees here in a very early version, Charley Chimp. The battery-operated Charley the Chimp sold widely in the United States, at least in the hundreds of thousands, if not more. People purchased a Charley either because the toy was charming or as many creeped-out buyers felt compelled to own one as a marker to the dark side of the human imagination. Either way, Charley Chimps sold widely, wearing one of two costumes, the traditional clown one shown here or the satin shirt and vest. Hollywood soon caught on to the creepy Charley Chimp toy monkey nightmare. Charley Chimps began showing up in films as fright or horror props. There was the direct-to-video horror film, "Monkey Shines". In the late 1980s there was a made-for-television fright film in which a cursed Charley the Chimp toy monkey directs grave misfortune, accidents, and death upon hapless victims. Charley the Chimp still ranks up there as one of the most creepy toys ever manufactured as such oddly popular. Who knows how many Charley Chimp toys still inhabit many an attic or basement, forgotten in some storage box? Charley Chimp toys are still regarded as part of scary movies and such. One can purchase a modern reproduction of Charley the Chimp today, probably for just under $50 U.S. Universal Studios sold reproduction Charlie the Chimps in a toy store on Universal Boardwalk. I purchased a modern reproduction Charley Chimp back in the 2000s on the Internet. He's still in mint condition, sitting on my lowest bookshelf. Once in a while I have to check the batteries and exchange for new ones, even though I don't play with him much. He's most shelf decoration. Don't worry. He's not cursed.
Neat video. I like these older (built to last) machines. I have a 1966 Maytag wringer washer. It has done a lot of laundry and I still maintain it. I do miss the big porcelain double sink ( one deep other shallow)In an apartment I rented. The set up worked well.
Just got one for 10 bucks! Missing the horn tho 😢
And don’t know if you read these Alex, but it’s Hudson from mountain camp
Superb collection 😎👍🏻 In hindsight I suppose Mamod should have named the white car the Le Mans and the red car the Dragster 🤔😁
It Logan hi from pondy awesome vid
Alex it’s Kieran how are ya?
Hi do you know anything about overhauling a countess washer. I have one I use weekly
Hey Alex, its stone from session 5 I think, and in 2024, this channel looks awesome and I loved hearing about the history of the museum! how long have you owned the peel p50, and do you use it in other things not including videos? really great to see my favorite counselor doing what he loves!
Hi Alex it’s me Dylan from history with Alex, happy I found your channel

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Kiernan from mountain camp)
That summer he worked at this camp and I was at It
I’ve got a countess I use weekly. I prefer it to my automatic
Hello alex its jack session 3 shasta i hope your doing well and have a great rest of your summer!
Very educational, like going back in time, but I still like the old Retro Automatic washing machines better.
1:16 ❤❤😢😂
This is beautiful! I myself have been having fun lately building an alcohol torch using a design I kinda invented, just out of copper sheet and copper tubing - there is still some more tuning to be done but it doesn't work too bad and it's been quite fun (I have a short clip showing it on my shitty channel), so this video is highly interesting to me. I wanna build one of these now, much better design than mine lol :)
Alex and Julie Watched all your epic journey episodes in one go. What an incredible achievement. Two amazing people and a legendary piece of engineering. I love your P50. I have a collection of over thirty bubble and micro cars including a trident but not a P50. Really enjoyed your commentaries and Julie’s happy smile. Love to visit your engineering workshop one day. Best wishes Jam
Interesting. I did have couple if those old torches from my grandfather. Never knew how to use them. I don't know wot happen to them. Cheers Graham
Yo alex, it’s cord form session 1 2024, what museum is it in also what castle did you get a job offer from
