A Karcher window cleaner will be perfect to suck up the excess moisture from the windows (a natural dehumidifier) and then tip the water outside. It is better to be able to see the condensate rather than let this form in hidden spaces, it is not just a problem in vans, but buildings as well!
Interior dehumidifier the small plastic tubs work really well I’ve lived in caravans all my life and places like cupboards under the seating etc always get condensation unless there are blow heating running throw them all ways suffer from it u can get them plastic ones in a pack of 20 on Amazon they work really well
Condensation is a problem for many van conversions a metal box is not really ideal. I've often thought of using a flatbed and building your own body out of wood or you can buy the composite panels Motorhomes n caravans are made of to do it, not that I have that level of skill. The other thing I've seen on many van self builds is a lack of ventilation. My motorhome has a number of floor vents (primarily as gas drops for safety) and the roof vents even when closed are still vented so keeps the air circulating so letting the damp out.
Greetings from Dublin Éire 🇨🇮. I just watched every video on your channel this week on my other RUclips account. Liked every one too. Have you watched Kombi Life? He has an episode dealing with condensation.
I discovered the channel a short while ago. In one you asked for our help. I obliged and it's been very enjoyable. Your attitude, aptitude and ingenuity are inspiring.
At 9:50 you totally wasted the chance to say "It's 250 miles to sussex, we've got full tank of gas, half a pack of biscuits, it's bright, and we're wearing sunglasses"
@@forwardtothepast2411 Regarding your ignition/starting issues, make sure your earth strap is clean and not corroded, even if it seems tight. This can lead to all sorts of electrical gremlins. Check both the battery terminal and the cable from the engine to the chassis.

I find the small plastic dehumidifiers work well. I use them in my shed and keep one in my Suzuki Carry as that used to leak badly.

There is a chap who uses his a/c condensate for a water supply. A small dehumidifier would help, and provide water.
"Could be quite explosive" love it. The Reliant seems to cruise along okay. All the best to you both.
Best way to deal with moisture in the van in winter is to get it running and drive to Tarifa until spring
Spotted the Delorian 😋
I see other people use a moisture absorbent crystals thingy. I like you unorthodox approach to motoring, Wouldnt want to be in a hurry though. 👍
Put a vapour barrier over the top of your insulation and use foil tape to cover gaps. Lovely van tho
Those Compact Dehumidifiers which retail for 20 quid are really good
