@@mike_themechanic Thanks for being so positive Mike. I had an interview booked tomorrow as Fabricator Welder at Koenigsegg but now i have Shingles (bältros) had to postpone it. Koenigsegg is only about 25 mins up the road. If i dont get the job you might see me after all.

I've also replaced the pipe and the master cylinder, for me it's OK when it's warm outside. In winter it was still a problem now it's fine 🤔🤔

You must have picked up some of their local dialect. I know a Swedish woman who moved to Nottingham when she was 5 and has been there for 2 yrs now and you can barely tell she's from there.

@@jaggass yes I have. I'm fluent in Swedish and I've worked hard to sound as Swedish as possible, alot of the time I get away with people thinking I am swedish 🤣

Yeah I think there ok and make the car look totally different to what it did before. Black wheels look good om big bmw's etc but not on a fiesta I think. White could be good as a contrast to the bronze but I'm not sure

@@mike_themechanic the grey is a good foil for it I think - it works for me - and it is a talking point, especially in show season. My first car was a MK1 in Signal Yellow, S reg - what I've had done to keep that, although I do have a MK7 TDCi now!

If it leaking then you should be able to see where it's leaking. If it went suddenly then i would guess that it's likely the slave cylinder as the master cylinder usually gets gradually worse and then stops working at all. You won't be able to get any gears if the clutch dosent engage.

@@DaddyDunva it still means gearbox out and depending how old the car is it might be worth a new clutch and flywheel

@@mike_themechanic its a 2010 with about 135k on the clock

@DaddyDunva done about the same as mine but slightly older. I'd have the flywheel and clutch ready if needed when you have the gearbox out. If it's not needed then you don't need to change it

@@ryanshepherd327 when I bleed mine as I did alot during winter I found that if I only did a few presses of the pedal it didn't work for long, but if I bled at least 10 presses of the pedal it would work at lot longer

@@ryanshepherd327 not as such. It's OK at the moment but has been a right pain while it was cold outside. I've changed the master cylinder, the pipe and the slave cylinder. Not sure what to do anymore 🤷

Yeah totally agree. If looked after they were bullet proof engines.

It's noise he measures. It's not possible to say to the machine that it's gravel not exhaust noise so it needs to be clear tarmac

@@andyb5187 that's how I got to where I am today 🤣🤣. My first car 1997 was a mk1 fiesta and after that I had a few mk2 before moving to Sweden. Now I'm back to mk1's again

@mike_themechanic haha I think it's inevitable we go back to the cars from our youth. Whenever I see a mk4 now (which is getting more rare) I say to the Mrs "we need to save that", going to run out of driveway eventually 😆

I have access to a lift and loads of tools etc but I would guess doing it on a driveway or in a garage at home it takes 2-3 hours. It's pretty straightforward as you can see in the video nothing too complicated

I think the only ones that actually needed changing were the tie bars but it was a kit so all are changed now
