I like the mk2,s I had a brand new 1.4 ghia back in the day it was a great car . That’s a really nice unmolested car to very original ish the metalwork is brilliant! i actually found a really nice m5 zetec s on the weekend but it had been butchered by the boys such a shame or I’d have bought it . Old reds looking beautiful Mike looks like new on camera 👍
I loved the fact it was completely original especially the engine bay.
The mk4 looks like a totally different car now after it's been sanded and polished
I had to weld left and right. A lot of hand work in order to make the bushes it fit as i dont have a mill.
Not had to weld it yet but that might change when I get the new bushes

Yeah not a recommended fix but it will do the job for now.
In 2017 I bought my first car. Some crappy mk2 ford fiesta, bought it near Lule as well. Think I paid 5000kr for it. Knew nothing about cars at all. All I knew was that it had troubles starting and could barely get me up to 110km/h.
Drove it for a couple of months, did get me to finland and back once or twice. Then I sold it for 5000kr. Posted an ad and had maybe 10 callers within the first couple of minutes, begging me to hold it for them. Sold it and never looked back. Guy who bought it was from Arvidsjaur so if you ever find a mk2 over there, most likely it used to be mine. Was low mileage and no rust due to it never being driven on any salted roads. Carb was also broken so I couldn't choke it.
Overall first car rating: 3/10.
