    Awesome video! How much role do you think body fat play?for example I'm at 21 % bodyfat. how much time will i improve if i get to 12 % body fat?.5 - .6 seconds?

      Glad you enjoyed the video! I'm not sure exactly how it would work out in time exactly... I think it would also depend on your training... if you're getting leaner AND more powerful AND working on your technique, then I don't see why you wouldn't be able to take .5 or .6 seconds off your time after losing 9% body fat

    Mam i am 200-400 m runner in my offseason ... on my recovery day i perform 5km slow run , hurdles , and mb throws.... does this 5km will make me slow ????? (Mam when should i perform my hurdles before or after the recovery run 🏃‍♂️ ) Waiting for ur reply at the earliest !!

    Hello mam ,I am training as a (200-400m) sprinter and .I am in my offseason . I am my self coach can u guide me please on these questions it will be very helpful Q 1 I do gym 3 days a week incorporating 6 exercises per session excluding core training.. i do strength training + some power power exercises ( is it ok ? Or over training) … Q2 Mam my front side mechanism is not too good what can I do for it please help me… ( I do Abc drills in my workout but results not pretty good) Q3 As on my recovery day I do 5km , mb throws , hurdles etc is it okay .. does this recovery of 5km will make me slow ?? Or not ? Q4 Mam can I perform push and pull session of sledge together and for what distances both should I prefer ?? ( I do pull session UPTO 60 to 120 m of 8x reps … then push of 20mx3 )

      Still part of my clients' workouts more than mine these days, if I'm honest... ...but yeah, if it wasn't cold and/or wet most of the time, would definitely try barefoot on the grass!

    Thanks for the heads up. Re the qualifying standards. Do they apply across every country? For example, the qualifying standard for the 100mt Women is 11.07. The current Australian record is 11.11. So no Australian woman will run in the 100mt. Is that so? If so it would probably mean that many nations would not have an entrant in the event

      The standards do apply across every country; however, some athletes can also qualify via world rankings... for Paris, this will be 50% of athletes. So, if they don't have the qualifying standard but are ranked high enough in the world, they will have the opportunity to go, provided that their country's policy allows it (not all countries will take their athletes based on rankings). There are a limited amount of spaces per event. For the 100m, there are 56 spaces available... for all other events (except the marathon) there are even less spaces available. Where a country has no male or female qualified athlete or relay team, they will be allowed to enter their best ranked male or best ranked female athlete in either the 100m, 800m or marathon. This is why you may see some slower athletes at an Olympics... it gives countries across the world the opportunity to be represented by at least one athlete. Hope that answers your question! 😊

    Your message is inspiring for sure. I ran my first marathon in 2019 aged 2 months shy of 71. I came second in my age group in 4.03.41 and finished 3288 of 7020 runners Age is only a number. Fitness, speed and strength can always be improved with training- at any age. Your tips are great advice for runners. Thanks

    Can you make a video how to maintain your speed and fitness. If you go on hoilday for a month. and you only have a gym, wity a treadmill, bike, skipping rope and a concrete running track to train in.

    Hi quick questions does having too much muscle slow you down? Because one guy was saying harry ainkess is too big if he lost some upper body mass he woukd run faster. He is too top heavy, but i said look at maurice greene, ben Johnson and linford Christie they were all very musular. And linford Christie looked bigger than harry. He said pics can be lie. He meet maurice greene in 2000 when he won the championship. and he was only 76kg but google search said 82kg. I think it's the weight for the height. And everyone is different. What do you think? Obviously you can't be too big and heavy like a heavyweight bodybuilder. Like ronnie Coleman.

      I think it just depends on the athlete... not all sprinters are built the same. Some do run better with more muscle. Harry has always naturally been bigger up top than most other athletes, even when much younger. Of course, he's gotten bigger as he's gotten older and stronger (but also arguably faster at points in his career)... so who's to say. There is of course such thing as too much muscle, I.e. when it's no longer functional for your event/sport.. and when your speed / power is negatively affected. If you're performing better than you were with less muscle then you as the athlete (along with your coach) would make a decision about whether the extra muscle is beneficial or not I guess

      You can run on the track with no shoes; however, you want to make sure the surface is clear from anything that could cut your foot. Also if it's very hot, or very cold the track could burn or cut your feet, so wouldn't really advise it foe running multiple reps.
