Hello! I just finished my season and i want to start my off season now to do a good base because this last year i didnt know how to train well but this year yes and i want to build a good base, so i thought on recover 2 weeks without sprint fast or do any routine, just what i want like calisthenics, some strength circuits i invent or other sports so i can be recovered to start my off season recharged, starting with 2 days sprinting (1 hills and 1 track, progressing to 3 times a week by time) progressing in volume week by week, so my ask is, do u think these two weeks without sprinting, doing other things and sports is good to start the off season well or should i incorporate some less volume/less intense sprint training in these two weeks like improvisated?
Having 2 weeks off sprinting sounds good to me. Gives you a chance to recover in both mind and body ☺️... plenty of time to get back to sprinting after that
