What about conventional deadlift or trapbar aka hexbar deadlift? Is there any beneficial strength transition to sprinting?

Similarly to squats, they help with general strength of the quads, glutes, hammies, lower back, etc (trap bar will target quads a little more due to positioning, conventional deadlifts will target hammies and lower back a little more)... this can potentially lead to the ability to produce more power during sprinting (particularly in acceleration) ...
There's always "optimal" strength when it comes to sprinting... as long as you're combining those heavy "slower" lifts with lots of sprinting, fast twitch and plyometric type works it has a lot more benefit than if you simply train like a weightlifter getting heavy and slow.
