This was a great video, Kaitlyn. As usual, you have talked about important principles for our lives. My attention span isn't great, but it's not "tiktok level" bad. My mind wandered a bit, while you were talking about temple garments, and "skins", where Adam and Eve could have been covered by "skins of light", while in the Garden. After the Fall, there would have been other skins given or made, to protect them. "Naked", in one definition means "unprotected", so they would have lost their protection from walking and talking with their Father, unable to stand in His presence.

I always think of the apron as a reminder that we can’t hide our sin from God. Satan will try and convince us it’s ok to do whatever we want, and that we can cover that up ourselves. God reminds us that we can be cleansed of our sins through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the garment is a symbol of that.

So many great reminders in this video! Thanks for sharing.

It's interesting to me that the first story in the Book of Mormon dealt with this very subject. Nephi and Sam and Laman and Lemuel. I believe that what you are talking about is important to Heavenly Father.

Concerning rules... wasn't it Brother Brad Wilcox that said 'A God who is asking nothing of us, is making nothing of us'. Hasn't God sent us here to see if we will do all things which He has commanded us to do? Following the Rules actually give us safety, it gives us boundaries. They bring peace. Isn't it amazing that if we break the rules, He is merciful and bids us to repent and return. His hand is stretched out still. He gives us rules because He loves us.

Hi there, first time viewer. Clearly everyone knows they are actually not members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints because they do not wear garments. Everyone knows that members do not drink alcohol or swing or stand by other peoples husbands and flirt or worse.they also know that members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints abandoned the derogatory nickname that was given to the church decades ago by its enemies. Everyone should be able to see through the lies. It is not believable if you have ever known a real member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.

Red cows? Shouldn't instead be a discussion about priesthood authority? And how blood sacrifice was ended? Why are so many putting their hopes on cows by people who are not authorized? It seems like it could stir trouble and risks rejection if they don't have the priesthood and it isn't the type of sacrifice the Lord intends. They could be taking "sons of Levi" as a tribal tradition rather than a priesthood meaning. Even if we get a batural heir of the priesthood... they have to be ordained and chosen to become a bishop; birth lineage isn't enough... they have to have the priesthood. Just my take on this so far.

I think its funny how we get incensed over media which misrepresents the church, but at the same time supporting those who engage in behavior which is outside of God's Law that is basicly the same pattern of behavior which is just as bad, but I get that this is a different situation because those ladies are going above and beyond to misrepresent the Church to such a degree that if my Evangelical Family members ever bring the subject up too me I'm going to Laugh....Very Hard.

Kaitlyn- unfortunately , “swinging” has become big in Utah. No, it is not the entire Church, but definitely becoming a big issue in Utah. These people do not have any kind of testimony. These are the seeds that fell in shallow earth. Their testimony never took root & when the Sun came out (media) they got shriveled up. Again, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a WORLD WIDE CHURCH. This Hulu thing is a Utah/U. S. thing. Remember, there are millions of members all over the world who have nothing to do with all this. THE FIRST WILL BE LAST AND THE LAST WILL BE FIRST❤. -Pure Lehite

Thanks for sharing this. I think it would also be good for each of us to consider how we treat other people’s faith and beliefs. We don’t want others to portray our beliefs falsely, or to base their understandings of our beliefs off a few people’s actions. We shouldn’t treat others beliefs lightly. We should dispel falsehoods, but we should do it in a loving and Christlike way.

David, Jared, Troy and Called to Share have all been encouraging mentors of mine in the last couple of years and have been there at important times where they have unknowingly done it when sharing one of my comments or emails or contributing to a video of mine. It's been awesome and I treasure those moments and have to remind myself of them as signs to me

4:57 I've told many coworkers, friends and family about my channels. I have had a few comments from 3 or 4 family members once. If any of them watch then I don't know because they don't say anything about it. I'm in almost a desert of quite on my videos. The good thing is for you, that you know people are watching because they want to and because of your content and not because of obligation. So that's a great compliment. We've learned that we can't do anything on our channels because of validation from our families. It's just not going to happen I guess. I don't know that our oldest children watch anything either. It feels a little sad honestly but just gotta keep chugging along

I asked a friend in my ward whose husband is on President Nelson's personal security detail if those rumors are true that he really isn't doing well (only able to drink water) and she said she hasn't heard anything like that. She said her husband and the other security officers take President Nelson (and the others who live in his building) ice cream often, at their request 😆

I guess I'm too old cuz i haven't heard of these programs. I hear about things like that from those of you I chose to watch on RUclips. My time is way too important to even waste on trash. The more I study about the red heifer sacrifice the more I believe there won't be another red heifer offered, or at least one that is acceptable to the Lord. Christ fulfilled or completed the "red heifer" offering in Gethsemane, He being the 10th such offering since Moses. The number 10 also signifying complete in Hebrew. There had been nine red heifers sacrificed prior to Christ. It's not generally understood that the red heifer offering was a sin offering used for the purification from the defilement from death. It was the only such burnt sacrifice made outside the temple or tabernacle. The location is also significant in that it was to be done directly East of the temple, and the priest making the offering must be able to see the door of the Holy Place from where it was made so he could springle blood (IE greats drops of blood) towards it. It was the only burnt offering that required a complete and total consumption of the animal by fire, the resulting ashes were then used mixed with water were used to purify. This alter, place or location of this red heifer offering was considered an extension of the temple. It was performed on the mount of olives probably close to or the exact location Christ was at in the Garden of Gethsemane when He made His complete and total offering to purify and save us all from the fire of hell, and eternal death that would otherwise come from any sin we would commit. When Christ comes to Jerusalem and sets His foot on the mount of olives for the second time, He will be dressed in red, the same as a red heifer. Then will the Jews recognize and see Him as that purifying offering and sacrifice which was already made for them. Then with a broken heart and contrite spirit will the Jews be able to complete the temple and make a righteous and acceptable offering unto the Lord, in the name of their Messiah. Keeping the Lord's command that "ye shall offer up unto me no more the shedding of blood; yea, your sacrifices and your burnt offerings shall be done away, for I will accept none of your sacrifices and your burnt offerings. And ye shall offer for a sacrifice unto me a broken heart and a contrite spirit."

This brought to mind a public event where Elder Bednar was questioned about all the things we as a volunteer church membership are doing.. and then questioned about some program, like sister wives. Asked if he had seen it, he said, "you just heard about all the things we are doing, when would I find time to watch?" My thought is, we need to get busy and minister more, visit the temple more, volunteer more, and make our "real" presence shine so much that no one will believe these lies.. 🎉 love that you brought it up🎉

I'm so glad the Church put out a comment. I'd like to see more comments. And considering excommunication as an act of love, I'd like to see more of the more egregious cases be excommunicated.

I was out taking care of things in my yard because of a storm and I missed this live. This show brought up a discussion at our house last night. The devil will use any means he can to confuse and deceive. I think the statement put out by the Church was timely and well-worded.
