I’m not a YSA, just a YA but I felt the need to watch the devotional last night and it was very interesting!!! The overall theme was to come together in Christ. There was a couple references to the Second Coming. At one point, something that Elder Uchtdorf said (it wasn’t necessarily about the second coming but about our world), made me have like a lightning bolt thought of “He’s coming in our lifetime for sure” I didn’t have any doubt that He would but it just struck me. He also referenced President Nelson’s talk about asking us to be the people that become the righteous people to welcome in the Savior. I don’t remember which talk it was but he quotes that part word for word
I signed it on the internet but went to the salt palace for 2 hours Friday night and 8 and a half hours Saturday. t get the classes wee great .everyone was glowing with the light of Christ. I participated in the worlds largest speed dating record. It was hard to communicate with each other because thousands were in the same room talking. My stake president had people fill it out. I’m glad that I was able to go because I’m 35 years old. It was great because I met a few brothers that came to talk to me. It helped to go to this conference because I’m at home most of the time isolated from people and go to activities at night.2 days a week.
