Thanks for the tips. I enjoy my paper scriptures as well, but having access tot eh digital library is such a blessing. Being able to quickly search footnotes and cross references, as well as being able to easily study multiple scriptures at once. I typically have 10-15 pages open on my Gospel Library app, and love being able to go back and forth without losing my place. And the audio versions are wonderful as well. I read scriptures every day, but I get to listen to the app while I’m doing other things, and I appreciate the added time I have to study in that way as well. I often get insight to something I’ve been thinking about in the past while listening to talks, scriptures, articles, or books.
Thank you for doing this because I have the same problem. I write so much down when I study the scriptures that I can’t keep track. I studied Jacob chapter 5 one day for 7 hours because I was writing so much, and I don’t even know where those writings are at. By the way! If you are interested, I am making a series of videos about the aspects of the great and abominable church that nobody wants to talk about. I have parts 1 and 2 up, plus two videos talking about why I decided to make a series of videos about it.
I have to agree with you! I love my 'cave man scriptures' ( like Steve Scott from Steve and Chelsea Scott utube). I use technology all day long, and I get tired of it! I think I'm the only one in the ward that carries scriptures. Someone brought up that they heard a zipper sound when I opened mine up in gospel doctrine class!! Besides you can lose that phone in a minute out of your pocket, dropped in water etc, etc. A lot of people have their phone up in the meetings, but they are not looking at the scriptures. What do visitors think when they see everyone on their phones in class and in sacrament meeting??? I'll use both, but the paper scriptures are my rock!!

That’s such a good point… people don’t know if we are scrolling on social media or reading the scriptures and making notes…
