The big shortcoming of the Hu's version is that while the throat singing sounds good, it largely prevents them from emoting properly. Due to the instrumental of this song being so repetitive, I think James's voice really carries it, and a lot of that is due to how he emotes throughout the song to emphasize certain lines, you can hear the contempt in his voice as the speaker in the song talks condescendingly to the subject.

Angra was and is technically far superior to Death and the two recordings show that. But Death gave it all they had and really nailed the the emotions, especially with those high screams.

Sympa de voir des anglo-saxons reconnaître des qualités au Metal français. La chanson choisie pour Sortilège n'est peut-etre pas la plus emblématique du groupe. Celle de Blasphème, oui assurément. Comme ils le disent : ' Seul" chantée en anglais aurait fait un carton dans le monde musical anglo-saxon. Les jeux de guitares français sont au final très appréciés des anglo-saxons. Respect à tous ces groupes. 😊😊
