Just picked up a titanium one for 220. Thought this was titanium and was about to be upset i paid more. Cheers
I kind of wish I had purchased the titanium but it was $240USD at the time.
Jubilee is actually very pretty. Might have to go with that on my next purchase
If upgrading to a larger battery with more CCAs should I change to a different alternator or can I use the original alternator?
good question. not sure.
No the alternator is the same as the V6 models, your only going to want to change the Alternator if your going above 12Volts. It’s by Voltage. Let’s say your adding a bunch of electrical tech to the interior and will need more of a current running through to keep all the systems running without diluting the system out if that makes sense. Also depends on how much CCA your upgrading so if it’s more than 700 I’d go ahead and look at stronger alternators, also depends on wire thickness but stock is sufficient till around 650 CCA safely so I wouldn’t worry about it to much.
Thank you much appreciate
2658 vs 2628 which one to go with if I have a small wrist of 6.2 or 3
2658 is better for small wrist. You can remove many links to fit small wrist. You can not remove enough links on the 2628 bracelet to fit smaller than 7.5 wrist. So unless you replace the bracelet, 2628 will not fit smaller wrists. I posted a video of 2628, 2627 to explain this.
ruclips.net/video/k-0Ia90WRzo/видео.html
The Nibosi Store at Amazon Uk says the case is stainless steel. However, Nibosi Company has this as steel alloy. 🤔
I got a Steeldive SD1953 that runs at +-1 second per day. Amazing really, I just received my Air King V2 from Pagani Design with the NH35 that seems to be running +5 seconds per day. I’d like to get it regulated to 2-3 seconds per day.
That might be a tough task. Do you have a timegrapher? I'd be happy with +5 on the wrist. Just have to hack it to correct the time once a week or so. Better to be fast than slow.
Great look watch
Is the crown difficult to operate? It looks a tad small. Thanks for the review.
Not really. It's a good diameter at 7mm but a little narrow.
that's a good point but one of the main features of this watch is the bezel lume which sets it apart from other sub homage watches. It's good to have options.
@@akrommujahid7685 Thanks for watching.
Mine is arriving soon. Got a good deal. The bracelet seems good for the price but i think this will be a strap monster.
I've been wearing it daily for about 2 weeks on the bracelet. I'd be interested in knowing how well your second hand lines up with the markers. I ended up resetting the second hand for better alignment but still not perfect. I will give it another try.
Awesome watch ⌚ ❤️ with nice price I'm looking forward to add it in my collection 😊
It's a nice watch but wait for a sale for $30 USD or less
you didn't actually showed the installation.
You are right. I was really nervous installing it and forgot to film it. I did show the screw, nut and washers I used as a press. It actually went in smoothly. I did put it in the freezer for "shrink" it a little before pressing it into place.
Thanks alot, the manual book is completely helpless. Maybe they should include a link to this video
Thank you for the detailed and to the point video. Saved me a lot of time.
Happy with my NH35 watches.
me too!
I had a feeling AliExpress had a warehouse location in the United States. There are some stores and sellers with the same product that can't deliver to Canada. Possibly due to the exporting/customs duty taxes. That's a great watch at that price! Good detailed video brother 🍻👊🏽
The SteelDive'53 is the Rolex of watch value. Classic looks - Seiko NH35A reliability & accuracy. Lume is insanely good. Outstanding value for money. I have the black face but grey with cream bezel numbers looks v. nice.
Totally agree. It's definitely the best automatic sub homage for the money especially when on sale for $50 USD. Addiesdives makes the best quartz version (same lume) for $25.
Hi everyone! I have a quick question. I bought the 2628 model, but I have a thin wrist. It hasn’t arrived yet, but I just found out that you can’t remove many links (like 6 links). I saw a tutorial suggesting you can 'break' the links to adjust it. Has anyone tried this or knows if it works?
space99dude did it on his channel. Probably not the easiest thing to do. I just swapped out the bracelet as shown in my video. It's unfortunate it only includes 4 removable links because the Nibosi bracelet is actually very nice and I would like to use it but it's just too long.
@mtbbiker6401 Where I live, a bracelet is much more expensive than the watch itself, but I understand. I’ll see what I can do because I also found the bracelet perfect. Thank you so much!
@@samaras.s.w were you able to adjust the bracelet?
@@mtbbiker6401 Yes, I had to do it manually. No watch shop would do it, so I made an adjustment by removing a link and attaching it directly to the clasp.
Simple and very useful. Thank you
3:40
What's at 3:40? I start slow motion at 3:34.
Nice watch👍
That's Ground Breaking News :D
Very Shocking!
Does the sand have to be wet/damp?
Not that I am aware of. I tested this on fairly dry sand away from the water. I will try to perform additional testing at the beach in the future. I've also tested standing on dry concrete with similar results so I don't believe the ground needs to be wet. Simple voltmeters like this can be purchased for less than $10. It's a good idea to have one to test out different locations when you ground.
@mtbbiker6401 Thanks for the reply, im pretty sure i have a voltmeter somewhere in storage. Would be neat to tinker with it the way you do
No complaints a great looking watch 👌 for the price. Won't cry If I loose it or gets stolen. Thank you China 🇨🇳 😂😅
Brother thank you very much! I am commenting this from a personal point of view to help others who are doing this kind of project and to open their eyes. That Shimano recommends a 52mm front chainline is absurdly large! Some Sram groupings of this type have as much as a 6mm difference between the front and rear chainline on the boost standard. Not to mention who uses the 135mm QR standard. In this case, if you have a 68mm bottom bracket mount, put two spacers on the left side. This will allow an even load on the bearings, and you will get a chainline difference of about 3mm which is ideal for 1x11 drivetrains with huge cassettes. To health.
I have the same but with turquoise dial
me too! I purchased the grey and the turquoise.
May I ask are you sure that the case diameter without the crown is 40 mm, because the website says it is 41? Did you measure it yourself?
I just measured again. The bezel diameter is 40.5 mm. The bezel fits flush with the case excluding the crown guards. Hope this helps.
@mtbbiker6401 thanks, that's very helpful!
Would you recommend the SSB303P1 model?
Yes. It uses the Seiko 8T63 Mechaquartz movement that is the same as the VK63 movement in the Pagani watch in this video. The chronograph will only count up to 60 minutes then it turns off. If you need a chronograph to function longer than 60 minutes then look for a watch with the 8T67 or VK67 which will count up to 12 hours.
It's much more stable/less bendy than the cheapest tourney crankset.
It appears Shimano has replaced the Tourney, Acera and Altus lineup with Cues.
@@mtbbiker6401 yeah, but they are still widely available
10:41 “in case it gets caught on a desk” 😂 Talk about a real adventure
I have my DD-5150 desk dive certification. Thanks for watching.
The biggest thing that you missed mentioning is where the heck could we get that clone cuz it's a lot better than the real one!
They come up occasionally on AliExpress but then the sellers are removed just as quickly.
WTF, At First I believe The Left is real
Both fakes possibly?!! I think both have minor defects
Orange watch is authentic Seiko SBSA009
The problem with this watch is that it loses about 8 seconds in 3 months. That's a big disappointment. I bought for example several watches from a cheap supermarket called Aldi in Germany. They cost 10 Euros per watch and lose 1 or maybe 2 seconds per year!
That's unfortunate it's running slow. The watch uses a Miyota 2115 movement which has a listed accuracy of +/- 20 seconds per month. Not very accurate for a Japanese quartz movement. I am familiar with Aldi in the USA. Mostly a grocery store.
hey, can someone explain me why ? why the f*** Shimano annouced it is compatible 135/142/148 while it comes with a 52mm chainline 🥴
52mm is for boost 148. 135/142 is more like 49mm chain line. Shimano is not being truthful. You can sometimes move the bottom bracket spacer to the non-drive side to offset the crankset in order to get 49.5mm. I believe the spacer is 2.5mm.
@@mtbbiker6401 thank you for you answer. after Mesuring I have 47.5mm chainline at the rear. So I can move the BB spacer from right to the left, I'll still have 2mm gap ;(
@@Pepin-LB Do you have threaded BB? what width is your BB shell? Usually they are 68mm or 73mm for mountain bikes. If it's 68mm then you should have one spacer on left and two spacers on right. You might be able to put all three spacers on left but you might run out of threads. This would put your chain line at 47. You could also add spacers and longer bolts to the chainring to adjust your chain line. I have a video about this.
@@mtbbiker6401 it's a BSA 73mm wide
@@Pepin-LB 49.5mm chainline might work okay.
I recently had a chance to grab fake srpd55 K1 like this and with all seriousness I love it more than the real one. The dial has a flat margin indices, no misalignment and everything are Sharp. And the big one is that the bracelet is solid and not folded
Scary that batteries lasted 8 years. Not to long ago. My 1984 camaro berlinerta had digital dash radio push buttons and the battery lasted...they were made in the U.S.A.
nice watch, except for the claps and the mineral glass
Hard to beat for only $30 USD on sale.
shake the steeldive its all clattling clang, shake the san martin completely different. plus which one feels amazing in your hand? just because its made by the same steel doesn't mean they are the same,
The margins are probably still really good for them on cheaper watches like Seikos. If they use the standard Chinese movement. Plus, a lot of homages (Like Cadisen 62MAS), and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the replicas (although I don't know), actually use the Seiko NH35 movement that would be used in these Seiko 5s anyway.
Many of the homage watches use the TMI NH35 & NH36 movements which are non-branded Seiko 4R35/36 movements. Most of the cheaper replicas still use DG2813 movements.
Why is nearly every review of this the green bezel??
I have a review of silver bezel model on my channel. ruclips.net/video/SuBH-B1Jgv8/видео.html
Seiko, Casio, Orient, Tissot and fashion brands like Armani, Tommy, Boss will always be in high demand. Both for snobs and casual wearers. The higher the demand, higher the number of counterfeits specially in second hand market. They sell is as real deal and it’s hard not to buy when you think you’re getting a $200 real deal for measly $50! While it may appear to be an obvious scam, some just went to try the watch regardless of authentic.
I am losing about a second per hour... 24 seconds a day : / Invicta pro diver ... Still i do like it
That's too bad. You could try to regulate it.
My reset button is not working... Is there a problem in it?
Has it worked in the past or never worked? If it never worked, then there might be a problem with the button not able to reach the movement. Sometimes this is caused by an interference with the movement holder inside the watch.
i did the same test on my Frigidaire filter. Pretty much the same results, just expensive tap water.
Great little video. Thanks for sharing.
Omg , God bless you sir , you kind soul 🙏, your video helped out so much !! Thank you
Hi I really wanted to buy this watch but I think I prefer the San Martin instead. What model number is it in the lume test?
The San Martin in this video is SN0121GA. It's a Tudor Pelagos 39mm homage. I would also consider a San Martin SN008C which is 41mm homage of Black Bay. The SN0121 usually costs $200 USD. The SN008C is $150 USD. I have a video review of the SN0121GA on my channel. ruclips.net/video/x3_vqBUL1h0/видео.html
$55 vs $150 vs $200. Big difference in price.
Why don’t you have the he clock turned on? I want to see if the fake one makes a tic toc
They tick the same 6 beats per second. They basically have the exact same automatic movement. The real watch has a Seiko 4R36 and the fake watch has a TMI NH36 which is the unbranded version of the Seiko movement. The Fake watch applies a thin metal plate (with Seiko printing) to cover the TMI printing on the rotor, otherwise both movements are identical.
