To screw the crown in, turn it COUNTER clockwise slowly until you feel a slight click. That will be the threads lining up. Then you can screw the crown in clockwise without worrying about damaging the threads. A tiny bit of lube on threads every once in a while is good, too. Works on all threads, not just watch crowns.

Yes there are different versions. There is a newer version with aluminum bezel insert that looks like Yacht Master (non-lumed). I purchased mine at Steeldive Store on aliexpress.
I just ordered one, with the black dial. Got the one with the oyster bracelet. I was torn between this one and addiesdive,but people say the steeldive bracelet is better. 🤷♂️
I'm not knowledgeable on the Addiesdive automatic version. They are definitely not as popular or available than the Steeldive. My only question is whether the Addiesdive cyclops is lower magnification. I find the Steeldive cyclops to be over magnified. I own several of the Addiesdive quartz models and those cyclops are more normal but are also mineral instead of sapphire. I also own a Tiffany Blue SD1953 that I ordered with the oyster so I can swap jubilee and oyster between the two. I have reviewed that watch also on my channel. Thanks for watching.

I picked up the Hulk quartz version, £25. Incredible value. Fit and finish is great. Lume is great and betters some of my watches costing alot more. Last until the morning with ease. - 2s/d, excellent.

Could you please check MINIMUM size that jubilee strap can be adjusted? I have 6 inch wrist and im wondering is it possible to buy jubilee variant instead of oyster, much appreciated
Yes. 6 inch should not be a problem. I have about a 6.5 inch wrist and I can still remove three links and have 3 holes of micro adjust available. 1 link = 1/4 inch.

@@simple4321 I removed 5 links on the oyster and have it on the last hole of micro adjustment (largest position). I can reduce it another 0.45 inch by using the first hole. I can also remove one more link. Each link is 0.40 inch. Hope this helps.

that's a good point but one of the main features of this watch is the bezel lume which sets it apart from other sub homage watches. It's good to have options.

The SteelDive'53 is the Rolex of watch value. Classic looks - Seiko NH35A reliability & accuracy. Lume is insanely good. Outstanding value for money. I have the black face but grey with cream bezel numbers looks v. nice.

That's odd. I ordered another SD1953 with oyster bracelet and it has the same clasp as the one in this video. It has 6 holes for micro adjustment. SteelDive has an updated V3 clasp that has an applied 3D logo on the clasp. It doesn't have any micro adjust holes but it has an adjustment hidden under the clasp similar to glidelock. Maybe you received that one.
Yes. It seems like a nice quality bracelet. I have it adjusted down to my 6.5 inch wrist and it can still go smaller. My only complaint is the protruding male end links which technically adds some lug to lug width but that's a minor gripe.
true. The NH35 movement can be purchased for about $25 USD on aliexpress. I picked up a NH36 on sale for $20 to build my own watch. This Steeldive SD1953 watch is an incredible value especially if you catch it on sale for $60. I wish they would offer a non-date or non-cyclops version also.

You will enjoy them. I also purchased the light blue (Tiffany Blue) dial with black bezel on oyster. These were on sale for $48USD. Difficult not to purchase every colorway. I'm glad the sale is over so I can take a break from purchasing watches.

Great colourway. The finish looks very impressive and for that price incredible. Watch looks 10x what you paid.

I didn't think the V3 clasp was worth the extra money. Maybe if it didn't have that large applied logo I would have upgraded.

Steeldive also makes a Deep Sea 45mm version. SD1964. It's 17mm thick!
