Great review! I just got this watch yesterday. I like the look and of course I can’t afford a Rolex (never will, and that’s ok). Some snobs call this a clomage…I beg to differ. I lucked out and received an updated bracelet and it’s great (no play). I’m considering a rubber strap since that’s what I wear 99% of the time on my watches. The cyclops helps my 61 year old eyes 😅 I also own a Heimdallr Captain Willard homage. Another well made homage.
Btw, normally for mech watch is better to have a positive run like +5 s/d than negative like -5 s/d. Cause for a correction you just have to take a crown out for some time and do not need to rotate it for adjustment of handes.
I got mine three years ago and its still one of my favourites to wear the only difference from mine to the one shown is ive got the horrible clasps ,where the new ones of milled clasps, cheers for the review,.s.dive rock.
Cool to hear that. I think a Watch like this could last a lifetime. And why not. Hope your Clasp is holding up well. You could update it. Thanks for the Comment!
Hello fellow slim-wrister! Nice to see such a substantial piece on your wrist. Makes me prone to the idea of getting a similar one myself. Thanks for this video!
Basically I am thinking about the same update from quartz Addiesdive to mechanical Steeldive or Addiesdive. But I am not completely sure in the profit I get: the quartz watch requires no maintenance within some years.
I have to say the Steeldive feels a bit different. If you are Completely Happy with your Addies, don't bother. If you need a little more weight, Chunkyness, and premium feel, (no sharp edges) try the STeel. If you do, try through my Affiliate, right now its 60 Bucks...but the Price Fluctuates. But I would say the Addies could and would keep me happy. Only If you need a bit more premium, than upgrade. But the Addies can be enough.
The watch is awesome, but the Cyclops is positively awful. It is way to strong and distorts the date window terribly. If they simply went to a lower magnification, it would be near perfect. I resorted to using a propane torch and box cutter to scrape the cyclops off the watch and it looks much more balanced without the cyclops. I don't mind a cyclops, but it has to be a good one, and the Steeldive 1953 doesn't have a good one.
All of your reviews are quite excellent.
Thank you! Glad you enjoy them. I try to be honest, from Watch Lover & user to fellow Watch Lovers!
Have it for a year now, best watch for the money and very lovely.
It is. In what color did you get yours?

@@darioswatchclub8 good price is by your link, btw. Are you maybe going to buy Pagani 1719 for a review?

It is cool!
I have this. It's a great homage. Now I am ordering a real Rolex .
Both your watches will be Black. Tell me how the Rolex feels in comparison to the Steely.
