For the price you pay nothing can beat this watch. I have 4 of these and don't have to worry about them getting scratched or dented, They look fantastic too!
I have 4 of these, and they are among my favorite watches in my collection. I do have 2 of them on Steeldive jubilee bracelets, one on an FKM strap, and other I swap between an after-market jubilee quick release and an FKM. Such a great value!
I could not agree more. Until someone has this watch on their wrist they simply cannot understand the quality and value it brings. Simply awesome. Jason
That is great… the 1953 is a workhorse for sure. Are you familiar with the SD-1970? Preparing a revisit video of the Captain Willard 1970 now…. Will be out in a few days.
I have 3 Steeldive watches, they have been great and no problems at all. No flaws either. The SD1953IPG is far more beautiful in person; video just doesn't do it justice. My favorite now.
@@JG-od3xy yes, I agree… there’s no substitute for holding the watch… it’s solid and reliable… a great watch.

i bought 2 of these same 1953 with 2 diff straps OMG im crazy about this watch it looks wears feels glows great im thrilled with it i wish it was more money so it would seem like a better watch but its not and its the best bargoon ive everbought in a watch love the review thx !
I have had a blue Steeldive 1953 for about 6 months, and I love it. I was so impressed with it that I got Steeldive’s Explorer homage, the 1934T, as well, and I love that watch, too. I agree with your comments, but I would like to see the cyclops changed from 2.5x to 2.0x or 1.5x rather than eliminated. I have the jubilee bracelet and am very happy with it.
Yes, Steeldive has some incredible watches that offer a whole lot of value. Are you eyeing another Steeldive at some point? Do you like the time at the 6 on some watches? Thanks so much for watching! Jason
I have a few of the Steeldive Willards and Tuna homages, along with the SD 1953's. They are all excellent watches...I recently purchased three of their SD 1964 models in green, blue and black, along with the SD 1982 Kalmar homage watch. Two of the Sd 1964's and the Kalmar watch have excessive play in the rotating bezel, which is very disappointing, considering that these watches tend to cost more that the afformentioned watches that I own. Not sure if I will purchase anymore steeldive watches....
Interesting… I honestly don’t know much about the 1964’s but you have me interested in them. Any watch you’d suggest I review next? Thanks so much for watching…
I was reading your comments below to @enemy_of_the_state_0351, yes, please do the Seestern watch. I am having trouble deciding between the 1970 and the Seestern Doxa homage. A review would help.
Hi Stacey, you got it. We will tape that video today and have it posted tomorrow. Thanks for reaching out and hope to hear back from you after you make your purchase decision.

I’ve had my Steeldive 1953 in turquoise for about a month now, and it’s been great. I’ll be buying more Steeldive watches in the future!

Nice review. Do sell stickers with your logo on them?
Good idea! We'll look into that!
