I'm glad u showed this vid. I know I need a new one. I can't use regular coolant so I've been putting in water so it doesn't run hot. I think I should start using distilled water instead. So wat can I use for a temporary seal until I get it replaced?

I don't get why these car companies don't just undercoat certain vehicles or at least trims, especially 4x4 trucks and w/e else is commonly driven in the winter. Sounds expensive but with everything they do to make these super expensive machines, if they did it it would be cheaper for them because they can order the stuff in bulk and it would really increase the value of the vehicles over time in several states where they salt the roads.

Wondering if a little trany oil would thin it some as it has anti-rust properties also. ... Trani oil, PB blaster, and a smidge of dawn soap. Makes a great rust spray, better than over counter stuff. Two yr holding power.

Hey i just bought my first car and its kinda rusty. The rust isnt too bad but it looks like the remaining rust in the video after the main rust coat got removed. I dont have much money but i got time and a steel brush. How do i repair the rust? Should i just scrub it off?

Is this the same on both gasoline and diesel versions? Is this a 3 door or 5 door? My 3 door diesel pissed over my garage floor recently but seems to have stopped at half tank and juat trying to figure out where to start looking

Good video, to check oil on these you gotta unscrew dip stick wipe it and dip it back into the engine without screwing it back in, thats what the manual says.

The bolts on the thermostat cover of my V90 (= 1998 960) were seized. The garage owner said (in French) "We don't want to snap those off...". He inserted a torx bit into the first bolt and gave it two sharp hits with a hammer. Likewise for the second bolt. The two bolts then undid easily. Since then, I have used the same trick with other bolts that were reluctant to undo, including sump plugs. Works every time.
