I own a 06 Silverado, it's in France now with a good climate but it was driven 12 years in Québec and it's rusted but not that much regarding what it went thru ... I've owned a RAM and a F150 and they where far worse regarding their durability and alot of other things not related to that. They all rust over time if you are close to the sea or in a snowy area some more than others, Silverado and Sierra are maybe not the best but far from worse !!

I had a 99 silverado for 12 years . It was a rusty mess. I bought it new. No excuse. Last chevy truck for me . Tundra all day long.
