Omg thanks for sharing this! Scammers are all over Poshmark. It's crazy! When I posted my first listing, I immediately received scam emails left and right. It's scary. How do we even know who's legit :(

As soon as I saw how tiny the package was I would have recorded a video as I opened it 6:20

I’m a seller and a buyer, I just listed an item and I get the damn scam messages. There is a what looks like another seller actually ,not an odd username , messaging me to copy a link and open in browser to verify my payment info 😂 surreee

I JUST SIGNED UP WITH POSHMARK . I RECEIVED REQUESTS TO COPY AND PASTE LINKS FROM EMAILS TO GET THE MAILING LABEL FOR 14 DIFFERENT BUYERS WANTING TO PURCHASE MY NECKLACES. 14 DIFFERENT SCAMMERS. I AM NEW AS MENTIONED SO I DIDN'T REALLY KNOW WHAT I WAS DOING. I SAW THAT POSHMARK SENDS YOU A LINK BY EMAIL TO GET THE MAILING LABEL SO I FIGURED THIS WAS LEGIT. NO IT WASN'T! IT WAS 14 DIFFERENT PEOPLE TRYING TO SCAM ME BY HAVING ME COPY A LINK AND PASTE IT TO MY BROWSER SO THEY CAN STEAL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION. I AM NOT REAL HAPPY WITH POSHMARK BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM EXCEPT BY EMAIL. WELL I EMAILED THEM 2 WEEKS AGO AND THEY HAVE NOT GOTTEN BACK TO ME. THEY HAVE A PHONE NUMBER BUT THEIR MAILBOX IS FULL AND NO ONE ANSWERS. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED. POSHMARK SET ME UP TO GET SCAMMED. POSHMARK NEEDS TO BE MORE CLEAR ABOUT THEIR PROCEEDURES AND MORE DILIGENT ABOUT REMOVING SCAMMERS ON THEIR WEBSITE. VERY UPSETTING. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR EXPERIENCE. POSHERS BEWARE!

FYI - when I order anything used from eBay or Poshmark or Mercari… I start recording the video right before. I’m actually breaking the seal of the package now… Just to protect myself! I also take video right before that of the actual label so it’s very clear who it came from, and that it came to me Because of a very lease if I get scammed, I can file a police report and I recorded video of me opening the package to prove that I didn’t open it before

I am here watching your video because I’m a buyer that purchased an item and when I merely messaged the seller days later to ask for an update on when she was going to ship it out, because in the beginning, she said she would ship it out on Monday… I go to message her Wednesday And find out that I was blocked! I also sell my items on Poshmark and I’m a five star seller and I’ve been selling on Poshmark for years my excess items… And I have never had someone blocked me after I’ve actually purchased their item ! I don’t understand it and I’m wondering if it is part of a scam that I wouldn’t understand is a scam I’ve already put in a request Poshmark about this with screenshots where the seller shows she’s definitely active, including our original conversational thread before she blocked me… And I’m asking them for a refund already because it hasn’t even been shipped out! It’s one thing if she never responded and maybe just genuinely forgot that she was selling things on Poshmark but no, this isn’t very active seller who was just logged in a day previous ! Like I said, she responded in the beginning ! And then for whatever reason she freaking blocked me and it’s angers me! It makes me never want to buy on Poshmark! And sellers to do this… They are going to ruin this platform I don’t care if a seller is having a bad day and she feels annoyed by a message from the buyer asking for an update, but there’s a clear reason why I really need this travel bag as soon as possible This is downright unprofessional And I do plan on filing an official complaint with this seller even after I get my money back Like I said, it hasn’t even been shipped out yet so I know I will be able to officially cancel the order But if anything, I’m probably going to talk about this on my RUclips channel as well and TikTok, because people need to be fully aware that they could just be innocently shopping on Poshmark make a purchase and then the seller never sends the product out and worse… Blocks you from communicating with them to get an order status ! These type of sellers need to literally get booted off the Poshmark platform because this is not Customer Service whatsoever

There's another scam going around Poshmark. . . If you post something to your own closet, there's a scam where people are commenting saying that your photos are blurry and to privately email them. Don't do it! I'm not sure how they are getting over people but it's a scam!

I know when I lived in Massachusetts the police officer used to scan for hackers. Have you tried your local police office to see how they can help in terms of online scammers and investigations.

I was literally sent a plastic ring from AlliExpress that was advertised as a gold plated ring. It was actually sent in the legit AlliExpress package. Posh wouldn't refund me.

And Poshmark does not care about scams..not one bit.

Poshmark has scam buyers also..who damage and make up bogus claims about items so they can get their money back .and Poshmark suggests to let them keep the item, and give them full refunds..I was a good honest seller with 11k followers and five stars..it took this blatent scam buyer tldor me to cancel my account..as the platform is not doing well anyway..eBay has become alot better with more buyers, real customer service etc.

Faith watched your video very early this AM and I just set up a Poshmark acct and the system said that I sold something. On my business email, Poshmarks or what I thought was a legit Poshmark email came through and wanted more verification before sending my payment. That was the beginning to hours of that email saying they had no account for me and they wanted my bank info. Well after an hour I noticed that my bank account had been tapped for $600. Called the theft proptection and it was refunded to me. Passwords changed, thought it was ok. NO WAY!!! This AM my bank acct was tapped again $900. So that's the end of Posh for me. Hi I’m contacting you because I just open my Poshmark account and think I was scammed but in a different way, someone wanted to buy my stuff but they contacted me through email and sent me funds that way but it wanted all my credit card information to accept the funds. Is that how Poshmark does it when you are selling your items??

It soubds to me a hacker just figured out your paypal. I would just put 2 step authentication and not use the same password and always have different passwords for different sites as safety measures.

How's that an odd username? It's 2024. You pretty much _have_ to add numbers at this point, because most usernames have been taken by now, especially on sites as popular as Poshmark.

Can you tell me what i should do . The seller i bought a purse from sent my package to the wrong person ,so she contacted the person she sent it to and she said she would send it to the post office. Poshmark had made a new label with my address so she could send me my package. Well she never dropped it off and stole my purse. How do i get my money back from poshmark. They are not responding.

Buy and sell using a credit card. Then the bank, not you, will usually be on the hook for a scam. I never use a debit card unless I want cash back at the supermarket.

There are a lot of scammers on Poshmark, sending to you messages asking for more pictures of your listing, to be sent to their email. I just reported them to the administration!

I listed a few items, somebody in Texas jumped on all the expensive items and wanted me to contact her in email, claimed she can't see the pictures, I told her the pictures display perfectly, then all of a sudden all my items disappeared? I have no idea what is going on there!
