I calculate what my average COG is for each item I sourced at the bins. I take the store credit that is offered and subtract my COG of the items they took from the store credit amount and that's my profit. I then divide the number of new items I bought by the profit so I get my new COG.
Hi Faith! New to your channel and loving your content re: Poshmark. How do you feel about customers asking to pay via certified check instead of going through the app? I've had a few of these now and keep declining. Maybe a bit paranoid?!

I would pass on The Row clothing and focus on handbags and shoes, which sell quite well. Unless it's a really unique (or popular) item, The Row isn't going to perform for clothes like accessories would.
I spent maybe $50 at goodwill to start in the first week. I started small and worked my way up! Along the way I sometimes added some more of my personal money here or there if there was a good deal I couldnt pass up

How do you determine your COGs at the buy/sell/trade store after selling items sourced at the bins?
