My best advice is to list and share consistently. I would highly recommend researching which brands are selling well by looking through sold comps. It's possible you are listing things that people arn't searching for. You will be most successful on Poshmark with a quality over quantity mindset.
You can get charged of have your item sent back to you if you cover up or modify USPS boxes. If the bag rips and they see that you are using a Flat rate box and you didn’t pay the correct amount for it
K, question, what size poly mailer is that that fits the medium flat rate box? I'm always afraid to use it on ebay, but don't always have other options! Also, would LOVE a video on pirate ship plz. You would be much better off just using the Medium Flat Rate box and paying the rate for the Medium Flat Rate, which is very simple to find on PirateShip than covering the package. Covering it is considered a misuse of supplies is part of what contributes to high shipping rates and can get you in big trouble.

An easy way to get a sticker off of something is using heat. I like to use a blow dryer. I blow heat on top of the sticker and then it easily peels off!

You should order the Shoe Box from USPS and when you sell shoes, use it and as you would a brown box. It will ship Priority on Pirate Ship - all you have to do is use the shoe box and select the regular box 📦 icon, put the dimensions of the box (which is found on the box ) and weight as you normally would and it is good to go. I do it all the time!

I use a heat gun for stickers. A hair dryer would work, too. It loosens the glue & they come right off. I'd argue that that was my best investment, that & my steamer. Nice job on your average sales price!

Yes, for all my listings I do a 10% off offer 10 minutes after someone likes an item. Every other Friday I usually send a 20% of offer on my entire closet too. I use PosherVA for this and it makes it so easy!
I also use a poly bag to conceal the priority box LOL when I ship to fedex or less than one pound first class. But don’t be scared to cover it if the label is “P” on the right hand corner. Also, This has been my third comment, I need to stop.

Hi Faith, I noticed that you weigh your items after you sell them. Do you do free shipping on eBay? Sorry if I missed that. I really don't want to weigh every single item I list with packaging for ebay, but shipping can be pricey.
Yes, I offer free shipping on everything but shoes and bags. I definitely don't weigh everything before hand. For shoes and bags I usually do a flat fee of $10-$15 depending on the item. Anything I think is over 2lbs I do that for really.

most of my sales go to california as well! i sell a completely different style of clothes than you though!
California is MASSIVE so maybe it doesn't have to do with style? who knows!

It's not wasteful to use plastic bags, I use them too and I recycle ones that I receive from buying things on Posh and other places.

You will love sticker peelers they sell them on Amazon! I use them to remove price tag stickers
