I am going to take you with me and show you how to source at Nordstrom Rack to flip for profit on Poshmark, eBay and Mercari. At the end of the video, I will give you a retail arbitrage haul to resell. Loved seeing what you got & hearing your mindset about what you pick up!! I stopped by our Nordstrom Rack and there wasn’t much that I loved and made sense for reselling. Nearly grabbed a dress but decided against it.

LOL I will gladly accept that title ❤ honestly the racks in my area are way better than the thrifting! That's why I do so much RA and have a high ASP model. Gotta do what fits best with what ya got!
Just because a store has multiples of a style doesn't mean it won't sell online! Sometimes the style just isn't popular in your area.
It doesn't ALWAYS mean it won't sell but it often does mean that is it over saturated. "Always" and "Never" really don't exist in reselling haha there is always exceptions to rules haha thanks for watching :)
I love these types of videos. It definitely helps with trying to learn retail arbitrage. I went to my Nordstrom Racks clear the racks sale for the first time this season and only ended up buying two pairs of jeans. I thought I had found some decent things, but when I looked up comps it didn’t seem so hot! I’m so used to thrift store prices and even the slightest bit of doubt if something more expensive is a good buy keeps me from trying it out.

Thank you for the response! I literally wash every item (unless new) and feel like it’s so much extra work (especially since we all know that buyers will be washing anyways) so I wanted to get an idea of my other fellow resellers do! 😊
How often do you source at the rack? What’s your primary place to source?
hmmm it honestly just depends on the season and what kind of deals are happening at all my sourcing spots/how good inventory is at certain places. I don't have a primary sourcing place really. It's pretty equally divided between retail arbitrage, online arbitrage, buy sell trade stores and the bins

Hi Faith! I didn't have any luck with dresses either. Normally I find a couple of Reformation pieces and some other brands, but this time there just weren't any fun dresses. I had more luck with shoes though!:)

Hi, clearance items are returnable during a 45 day return window. You get original form of payment back!
After how long do you decide to return items to Nordstrom Rack? I returned some items after 30 days cuz I knew they weren't going to sell.
Sometimes I know I'm going to return something after I check comps more when I get home, like with the Pendleton jacket. In those cases I don't bother listing it. Sometimes I list something and it just doesn't get any attention and so I return it literally the last possible second of the return window lol the return window at the rack is 45 days. I really try to avoid this since it's not the most efficient but it happens for sure! Especially when I started doing RA in the beginning

Awesome video! I get frustrated when I go to Nordstrom Rack. Lol. Can you show us how you keep track of your cost of goods? Having to enter all the items I buy into a spreadsheet takes so long. Do you do average cost of goods or keep track of the actual price of the item?
I totally get it! I use Mogi Beth's spreadsheet and 100% recommend it! I keep track of the actual price of the item. The only time I average my COG is when I source at the bins! Thank you so much for watching!
When you create a listing, after you name your price, scroll down and you'll see a section below called Additional Details, which is private. I put the GOGS in the Cost price, which is only visible to you. This is a quick way for me to record the price I paid before I forget. So when someone is making an offer, I can click on "edit" to see the GOGS and decide whether I want to accept it or not quickly, without checking my spreadsheet.
