  • I've been reselling clothing on platforms like Poshmark, eBay, and Mercari for about six weeks now and I'm going to be documenting my journey on this channel! I've soaked up so much information from other reselling RUclipsrs and hope someone finds these videos helpful! I'm a mom, I live in the Midwest, and I want to figure out how to have a successful business all while spending lots of time with my daughter. Finding items to resell here in a smaller city is a challenge but definitely one that I'm up for!
    In this video, I share 5 things I've learned already and 5 things I want to try to improve my business!

    Welcome to Poshmark! One thing that's important to remember is that although certain brands sell well for one reseller, don't be disappointed if it does not sell for you. Because vice-versa, a brand that sells well for you, may not sell well for someone else. BTW, watching resellers' videos is good. It gives you good tips and tricks. But, any reseller that makes you feel bad about selling or makes you feel like you're doing something wrong, don't watch. Keep your spirit up with people who lift you up!❤ Best of luck in your reseller journey.

    Really enjoyed your video! It is getting more difficult to find anything at the Goodwill stores here in Utah. They no longer have the 50% off colored tags. Items are not individually marked. All jeans are the same price, dress pants same price, sweaters same price, etc…They pick through donations and the nicer items don’t ever make it to the sales floor. They are put on the Goodwill e-commerce platform. Gone are the good old days. At least with better weather, there will be yard sales to source from. The Goodwill bins (by the pound) are still a good place to source.

    • @essiejane1234

    Happy to come across your channel as I'm new to reselling. Started with just wanting to get a few bucks for good stuff I had (instead of just donating) and found that I really enjoy the whole process. Thing I'm really curious about is using stock photos. My concern would be someone buying based on stock photo and saying my item didn't look like the photo. How does that work...ever been a problem? And thank you!

    • @essiejane1234
      @essiejane1234  Год назад +1

      I only use stock photos if they accurately represent what the actual item looks like! I always include several good photos of the actual item as well. The stock photo just helps to visualize what the piece might look like on. So far no issues!

    I came across your video. I am a beginner as well. If a customer is not satisfied and wants a return, how do we go about that? Has there ever been an incident where someone returns the item damaged?

    • @essiejane1234
      @essiejane1234  2 года назад +1

      Posh makes returns really easy! I've only had a few buyers open cases and most of them have been bogus and Posh has sided with me, and I've also been able to return items I've bought on Posh that were not as described when I received them! I've never had an item returned damaged but I would guess that there is some protection for sellers against that! I've only had really positive experiences with Poshmark support handling return cases - ebay I guess I've just been lucky because I've handled them mostly myself.
