    I agree with your formula but one crucial number is missing, cost of goods. If you pay $5 for an item and sell for the 35-50 all is good, but pay 15 for the item and you will hit at the low end of profit. Are your numbers based on sale price before fees or after fees?

    • @RebeccaTheReseller
      @RebeccaTheReseller  Год назад +3

      I have made a few videos now going over my formulas so without re-watching I don’t remember how I explained this particular example… Usually I do account for cost of goods and I pay about five to $10 for items and list for 50 to sell for somewhere between 25 to 35 or more… Even with fees I am comfortable with the lowest possible profit at eight dollars Since that is the worst case scenario, and most of the time it is not that low💕

    If you list 10 you want to sell 3. In what time frame? How can you or anyone “guarantee” that something is going to sell?

    • @RebeccaTheReseller
      @RebeccaTheReseller  Год назад +1

      Never can guarantee but it is a numbers game and if you do enough listings and sales over time you can begin to see patterns and make predictions then you can make tweaks to nudge numbers in the direction you want💕

    For Poshmark, how does delisting/relisting an item get more sales rather than just sharing the items in your closet?

    • @RebeccaTheReseller
      @RebeccaTheReseller  Год назад +14

      It can be for a couple of reasons… Having fresh listings and additional listing activity is always good for algorithm and getting your closet exposure… Some people like to see what is new on Poshmark and so they sort their results by just in and so newer listings will show up at the top so if you frequently relist, they will frequently show up at the top💕

    Relist vs delist? Is relisting taking an already listed item and 'editing' it then clicking "list" again? Or is it so far as to delete entire listing and totally making up a new listing? And what does delisting do

    • @RebeccaTheReseller
      @RebeccaTheReseller  Год назад

      So in most cases its the same..you delist and item and then relist it and that makes it like a brand new item and helps your activity. it also shows up in Just In as well as fresh. I use Vendoo to delist and relist so the delist is the delete part and the relist is the listing new part. Its super fast with Vendoo and you can even do in bulk. My description has a link to my resources and you can get a discount with my code and link

    Does the number of listings per a day matter like if I do 6 one day then 8 then 10 but keeping around 6-10?

    • @RebeccaTheReseller
      @RebeccaTheReseller  Год назад

      I think that’s totally fine… it’s more about consistency of listing in general and the also putting in number of listings so the numbers work to make the money you want…. Any make $100k if you only list 1-2 items per day of Zara for example💕

  • @shopwithtachou

    Thanks for the great info! What is the amount of listing you recommend to relist per day?

    • @RebeccaTheReseller
      @RebeccaTheReseller  Год назад +2

      Thank you! Totally depends. Sometimes I'm only relisting and not doing new, sometimes I do both, depending on what's going on so you decide an amount that works for you. I wouldn't recommend relisting less than 30 days old though.

    • @RebeccaTheReseller

      Poshmark will release your earning after 3 days or sooner when the buyer confirms they accept the item. The money is in your Poshmark account then you can request it to be sent to you.

    • @RebeccaTheReseller
      @RebeccaTheReseller  Год назад +2

      Yes to keep everything simple and the same for all it’s revenue or sales and not accounting for COGs or fees because everyone has differences on that. If you want $36K after fees and cogs you’ll need to do some additional math to get that very specific number for your business 💕

      @@RebeccaTheReseller thank you! I’m currently at 20k for intake and 12k after cost of goods etc for the year. I sell purses and shoes mainly so my cost of goods can range, I try to make a minimum of $20 or at least doubling what I paid for an item that costs more. I’ve sold 373 items this year listed 597 average sale price is 54 before fees etc after it’s 33. Sounds like I need to list more. Thank you so much for all the info you provide!!!
