its funny how we unconciously wear things... I realized once that every Monday I wore the same shirt to work but it took me quite awhile to realize I was doing that! I’m a little late to the party with this episode but I think the background is totally fine! I do love the other background infront of the window with the plants as it is just ✨aesthetics✨ but what ever works for you in the moment! Just go with the flow and it‘s fine 💖 after all we are here for you and your knits not for the background 😅 also I think inserting photos is always a good idea no matter where you film as it gives variety and shows the yarn/knitted thing in different lightings and settings so you get a better idea how it looks on a sunny day vs on a gloomy day, or outside vs inside etc. Beautiful works as always! Can‘t wait to see how the boreas anorak develops, it‘s so pretty 🧶💖

Personally, I’m here to hear about your gorgeous knits. I’m not worried about your background!! I felt the same way about the Moby Slipover. Great for someone just venturing into cables but boy do I dislike mock cables!!!

You have the same issue in one of your cables that I also have in my first Moby, where the middle of the cable pops out. I couldn’t find any info online about it, and I notice a lot of people have it too. I think it’s the large number of stitches involved on worsted weight yarn. I was able to fix it this time around. For the cable that’s giving your problems, slip the stitches to your cable needle and move to front/back as needed. Then slip the next four to the right needle, slip the cable stitches back to the needle and then the 4 from the right needle back. Make sure to do this at the very tip of the needle so they don’t stretch out. Then knit those 8 stitches tightly! If you still see a little pouf, pinch and massage that cable to lie how it’s supposed to. Do this after the next WS row after the cable so the stitches don’t settle into a wrong position.
