This is the first of your videos that I have watched and you are amazing. 2 years of knitting and able to complete a sweater in 10 days is simply awesome.
Embracing knitting so wholeheartedly is definitely great therapy. Thank you for sharing your diagnosis of bipolar. I had a good friend in school who struggled with it and would be off and on the medication which was not good. Having a good therapist alongside your knitting is just the thing that will help you manage this.
Thank you for sharing and I look forward to more of your content. ❤

I’m so glad RUclips recommended you. Your work is beautiful. Thanks for sharing the bipolar diagnosis. Mental health is like physical health and we need both treated the same. ESP culturally. I’m African too and I know therapy isn’t a thing with our people. All the best. I had a lot of anxiety with having teens then over covid that went into overdrive. I picked up knitting then as a way to relax amongst other things and it was the best thing ever.

The Agnete cardigan - go for it! It's a beautiful and interesting knit. I just completed mine also in green. I used Woolyknit sage green and also drops dark green mohair. Since you knit so fast, I can see you completing yours in a couple weeks. :) Thanks so much for being open to share about your mental health struggles and your road to recovery. So many of us struggle in silence and I'm glad the world is changing where it is now okay to discuss this topic. Your knits are so inspiring and I could not help but follow you on IG.

Thank you for a great show, Joyin. No reason to be nervous that I can see - you’re a natural! Thanks also for sharing your own mental health issues and diagnosis and for being willing to open a discussion. My dearest wish is that the more people open up and talk about mental health issues, the more it becomes a medical issue to be treated rather than something to be ashamed of.
