I find it so interesting how knitting is so transformative for people who live with health challenges. I have Lupus and Sjogrens diseases. I started knitting two years ago and I am obsessed! I didn’t connect my love for knitting with my feeling more peaceful until I learned how so many other crafters have found solace while they work on theirs projects. No matter how hard my knitting is, it’s not nearly as hard as living with the pain and other symptoms. Thank you for being so honest about your experiences with managing your mental health with your knitting. Happy Knitting 🧶
Thank you Stephanie! Honestly if I could get millions of people to learn how to knit, I would. I wish everyone knew just how valuable it is. Hope you’re doing better ❤️
THE GODS FINALLY GIFTED ME WITH YOUR CHANEL! Thank you sm. I look forward to seeing all the amazing new things you make and following you on this beautiful journey. 🥳🥳🥳
I really enjoy your videos. I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t knit. It kept me sane while I took care of my mom for a year while she went through pancreatic cancer and then died on New Year’s Eve. I’ve read that knitting puts your mind in a meditative state so no wonder!
Really love your podcast. I love that you really detail the construction of your project and your experiences knitting them. You’re doing us all a great service!😊 Keep up the awesome work!
I saw your gorgeous cable sweater on Reddit and am so happy the algorithm brought me to you on another site - it’s so rare to see black knitting content creators and so lovely to see someone who looks like me in this space! ❤
❤ I don't know how I have missed these videos! Got bad allergies today, thought it was going to be a bad day stuck inside...instead, I have been binging all the videos😂. Best day I have had for a long time! You are covering all my way too many WIPs. Got organized finally with the help of your generous info! Your yarn discussions have helped me so much! Thank you😊❤.
I've been watching your channel since the beginning and I am always inspired by your meticulous cables and color choices! You have a lovely demeanor that feels so relatable and your willingness to share your struggle is so generous. Thank you for the video!
Thank you so much. I think coming from a culture where talking about mental health is frowned upon really makes me want to create more awareness about it ❤️❤️
Everything looks amazing!! I absolutely understand - my knitting has helped me be more healthy, but I am still 100% sticking with meds and therapy, too! Knitting is a great tool for thinking through those tough times and I like actually having something practical come out of it! It has also taught me to get over my perfectionism because I love my knits even though they're (of course) not perfect. Thank you, also, for reinforcing for me that frogging finished items that didn't turn out the way I wanted/I don't wear is absolutely ok. I need permission from fiber friends to do that haha
Thanks for watching…yeah sometimes it just occurs to me that knitting has had and will continue to have a positive influence in my life and I’m glad other people get the same feeling when they knit ❤️
Just watched the final part (I watch in parts sometimes). I'm so glad you've found knitting. I learned as a child but came back to knitting during my doctorate and it was a godsend ❤❤❤ so good for stress and anxiety.
That Grayling is so beautiful! 🤩 Love all of these projects you've got going, you're so lucky to be involved in so many interesting test knits! Also I 100% feel that bit about being so lucky to have found knitting, I am always knitting and it just brings me such joy lol.
Thank you! Lately I’ve found that doing test knits keeps me accountable so I’m able to finish projects faster. So glad we all feel the same about the positive influence of knitting in our lives ❤️
Beautiful round up of work ❤️🙌🏻. I was literally frogging a nearly complete Douglas Cardigan whilst I watched you, lol. Decided I was likely not going to finish it because I could not be bothered picking up and knitting all the bands and shawl collar. I’m going to knit another Climb Every Mountain, which is super relaxing to knit and I get heaps of wear out of. I don’t mind frogging because I’m a process knitter first and foremost and finished garments are a bonus 😂
The sweater with the cables all over is beautiful and your stitches are popping my distinctive. (Is it called stitch definition?) The way you explain this sweater is flawless! You have inspired me to start! I will get enough yarn to complete the sweater. Your inch comment has also giving me clues. Thank you
Your knitting is stunning as always! I've gotten into garment knitting a bit now after doing mostly socks and hats. I've knit The Weekender and I'm working on Plumeria by Woolandpine now. I think the RUclipsr you were thinking of is Rebecca from Hip Knit Hooray, she did a Blouse no 1 light with one strand in red.
Your grayling sweater is beautiful !! And the colour of the ripple top is amazing on you. I've saved the grayling sweater, it may be a future cast on for me 😊
You blow me away with all the projects! The color of your Ripple is stunning on you, hands down. What is the name of the cardigan you were wearing? If one doesn't spell it correctly on ravelry, it doesn't come up. I tried Frieda, Freeda, and others to no avail. Thanks!
Thank you. It’s called Fridag cardigan by Aftenstrikk. The designer has some designs on Ravelry but this cardigan pattern is only available on her website. There’s a round neck and v neck version.
@@jacquericci8289 haha thank you. It’s called Fridag cardigan by Aftenstrikk. You can find it on her website. I’m wearing the round neck version but she also has a v neck one and the sweater version as well 🤗🤍
I just found your channel and I just adore it! Your knits are all absolutely gorgeous, and I envy how fast it seems you can knit an entire sweater - I get too scared and just knit socks or handwarmers because they go really fast. I'm making the Rusalka Socks by Agata Mackiewicz right now and they're so cute! Have you ever tried socks?
Hi! Thanks for watching ❤️❤️ I’ve knit a few socks in the past. I think my problem is that I get really bored with vanilla socks so I think I just need to start knitting textured socks. I have sock novita sock yarn in my stash that I really need to use 😭
Finally found someone who seems to also love textural knits like I do. Beautiful!

Thank you! The pattern should be out in a few weeks on Aegyoknit’s website

Me too! I never thought I would come back to knitting as an adult but I’m so grateful for the amazing benefits on my mental health 🤍

You knit some beautiful pieces.

I'm awesomely knitspired to knit that knitomomy cable sweater! ❤
It’s such a nice pattern ❤️
your knits are always so beautiful! I don't think I've ever watched an episode of yours without adding items to my queue.
Oh thank you!!! ❤️
That Ripple top looks amazing on you! I love it.
Thank you ❤️
I like all your pieces but the Greyling looks STUNNING! I also really like the cloud top. I think it would be perfect with crisp white bottoms.
Thank you! I was pleasantly surprised by the Cloud top and how quick and easy it was ❤️
Hello from Swansea, Illinois.

Haha yeah I feel the same way. I think I have a few old knits I should probably frog since I never wear them ❤️❤️
Your ripple crop is stunning on you !!! The color 🎉 so good
Thank you!
Stunning! All of it's stunning!! Love your podcast!!!
Thank you Emily!
I love your super selene!!

I really want to make that Grayling sweater now. Looks amazing on you..
You totally should! It’s one of my favorite knits as of right now 😊

Oh thanks for reminding me of her name. Her red version is stunning!!! ❤️
The grayling sweater is just stunning ❤ I saw your post on Reddit and was waiting to see you talk about it here!
Hi! Thank you ❤️
Your grayling v-neck is positively stunning!! So beautiful. Your knitting, selection and finishing is impeccable. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much! Means a lot ❤️
Your pattern choices are amazing! Love seeing your FO's...
Thank you😊
Thanks! I bought the graying round neck after I saw yours. Was just what I was looking for!
Oh yay! You’re gonna love it! 🤍

Thank you… hope you get to make your Grayling soon.
Check out Coboo 51%cotton/49%bamboo I’m using it for a Ranunculus. I’ve also swatched Truboo 100% bamboo. Both feel nice to knit on wooden needles 😉
Oh nice!! I’ll check it out. I really need another Ranunculus

@@toksknits I like the vest even better, thanks for the info.
I love the cardigan you are wearing in this episode. I have looked for “Freda “, Frida, and Frieda without success. Help me find this pattern please!
