LOVE everything you make Joyin, your so talented and a beautiful soul, also I love all your colour choices you have a great eye for new styles, thank you 🙏 for sharing ❤❤
Just found you, love all your knits! I’m a big fan of Danish designers. Shawls, I knit my first two, from Gudrun Johnston heritage, Shetland trader book. Her patterns are super well written, makes me want to knit more of hers. Also I purchased a Teti lutsik shawl pattern. Take care,Melissa from B.C. 🇨🇦.
Your are looking so lovely, your outfit is gorgeous. You knit so beautifully. I wanted to mention that Google translate has a feature for pronunciation. When you type in the text that you wish to translate it to English, there is a speakerphone icon at the bottom of the text box. Of course, you must ensure that you type in the correct vowel, the "Ø", not a "o", which both have different pronunciation in Danish than the English "o". I am not Danish, I am French, but I thought this trick might be useful to you. 🙂
@@daniellebissonnette3304 thank you! I’ll definitely try that next time I have to translate Danish to English. French is a little easier. I’m not fluent but I can make decent conversation 😂🙈
Joyin, beautiful makes as usual, you are such an accomplished knitter. For your desire to knit textured shawls, have you tried any of Stephen West’s patterns. He is the master of textured and colorful shawls, sweaters, socks etc. I hope you can find something you like. Have a great week.😊
@@ijeomaiheke6451thank you! I used to always say I couldn’t see myself knitting any of his shawls because they seem so intimidating but I’m more open to it now. I just need to find the right one 🤍
@@toksknits Yeah, I understand what you mean, you have to find the one for you. Maybe you can look at some of his past MKAL shawls, they seem to have different textures and techniques, he’s patterns are very well written. Hope you find the one you like. Happy knitting 😊
@@toksknitshe‘s currently in the process of starting a new mkal 👀 I think it starts first of october or something around that. But I totally get what you mean I feel the intimidation too 😅 haven‘t done one myself. But I‘m also very intrigued by it so maybe you go first and tell us after if it is scary or not? 😬 💖
You need to try ito sensei mohair. I don't know if it's the softest but I love that the silk strand is the same color as yarn and the colors are fun and bright like you are😊 And the setting is great.
I don't blame you for wanting to knit another Super Selene. It's a luxurious knit. You scarf inspires me to make a red and beige version! A bit ambitious for a new knitter. However, I am looking forward to seeing your FO of the Seoul Blouse by Aegyoknit. Great blog as always. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Joyin, i have a question about your Moby. I noticed at 17:06 that you have a cable on your left upper shoulder that twists kind of funnily, it bunches in the middle. I knit the Moby for my partner and i had the EXACT same thing happening almost on the EXACT same spot and I am at a loss to understand why it did happen. I didn't knit too many rows, i didn't twist the cable the wrong way and it didn't go away with blocking. You being such a prolific cable knitter: can you tell me what happened there and what i could do about it? I almost screamed when i saw yours 🤣 cause i felt so stupid when i noticed that mistake 😅 it is the only one in my entire men sized sweater 🥲
@@jacquelinedenkinger5625 oh really? I don’t even think I ever noticed it. Sometimes I think cables behave that way. You can probably shape it into place. It’s hard to describe but you can maybe try to use your fingers to push that cable in to where it should be and it should stay that way. I remember I’ve had to do that before and it worked. 😂🤍
I made the vertices unite shawl this year and absolutely loved making it! It’s garter stitch but the modular construction and colour combinations make it a really interesting process to knit 😊
Hi Joyin, I love your podcasts, your setting/backgrounds are lovely. Please keep going. Your knits are to die for. I love your yarn and colour choices. I have been inspired to try the tulip sweater once the pattern is released. 😊 Some shawl ideas I have are all Stephen west ones 😅 exploration station and dustland shawls are nice and I will be knitting the vertices unite shawl first and then trying the exploration station later. I’m scared of brioche 😅😂. Twinset and purl have some lovely sock patterns as well. They have a Bridgerton collection and I have casted on the Lady Danbury socks. ❤ take care.

I love knitting socks! I do a mix of vanilla and textured. Sometimes I get tired of one or the other and I flip back and forth. This Handmade Life has a lot of nice textured patterns. I like the background as well ETA: Some shawl recommendations: Vernal Equinox Shawl Surprise, Vintage Lace Shawl, Artus
