The finished product looks great and a good way to carry. (I'd prolly stab myself in the spine trying to put it back though.) I can even see carrying like that on the left hip and, with a slight adjustment for the southpaws, on the right hip. My fixed blade is in my saddlebag for the most part, only on rare occasions do I wear it. My EDC is a folder in my pocket.

That was Kydex. It’s a stiff, very durable plastic. If you warm it for a little bit in the oven, it becomes pliable. I have a Fordson adjustable wrench that had been my Grandfathers. No idea where he got it, but I never knew of him to have a tractor. He was in WWI where he worked on an ammo train. It is possible they used tractors to distribute ammunition. Later he became a mechanic. The handle is twisted, so someone must have used a long pipe as a cheater bar. I didn't see any of the other tools from the set in his tools.

Yes, I’ve done that as well. If you find them for a good price, they’re well worth picking up. Hopefully you’ll find another one sometime, just keep an eye out. Thanks for your visit and have a great weekend.

Very cool design. Around here they use standard boxes. Can't wait to see the finished product.. very cool display for small axe/ hatchets. One problem though.... you didn't leave space to add more 😁😁😁 if you made it twice as wide you would have a reason to add more

Thank you and you are absolutely right. I thought of that way too late. I guess I’ll just have to make another one sometime. Thanks for your visit and have a great weekend.
