Thoughts about Skyward X in this category? Ended up with two pairs after watching your review on it. Deciding if I want to use Skyward X or SB2 for a 4hr marathon.

My memories of Fila: I think Adam Goucher was in them immediately after the 'Running With The Buffaloes' era. I also think Paul Tergat was with them and had them on for the first sub-2:05 marathon. (Not sure about that race. He was with Nike part of his career. ) I am also under the impression they made the first carbon-plated shoe. This may be the Tergat World Record model. Someone may have more knowledge on this topic, but I believe it was a significant brand for a while.

My cielo x1 did not hold well, after about 150miles the soles on the heel started wearing awfully, to the point I cant wear them anymore. I am not a heel striker and have never had wear in this area of my shoes ever. The shoe was so good I couldn't stop wearing it I will say.

ON shoes are one of the worst shoes I’ve ran in. I don’t get how people like them . I dont see my pace group wearing them but i see avg runners wearing them.

The OG Endo Speed is the trainer I've put the most miles on of any shoes I've owned. The Speed 3 is in my current rotation and I like it a lot. If I had to get a replacement today, I'd try out the NB Rebel v4.

I think you are spot on. I took the VF3 for a 16mile tempo today, and thought I was in a bottoming out the whole time. And I'm not 6'3", I am 5'8" and 130lbs. I have the MS Edge for my next marathon shoe.

VF 3 has not appealed to elite marathoners. Many are still running in Vaporflys, but versions 1 and 2. The 3 seems to lack the special sauce. This according to Chris at Sagasu Running.

I’m 6’4 - 195lbs and Use to absolutely love the VP3 but As I became a faster stronger runner I noticed how fast they bottomed out for me during workouts. Surprisingly the deviate nitro elite 3 solved that for me. It reminds me so much of the VP3 but firmer with no bottom out issues

When you stand on tiptoe to take off the shoe is too thin and you feel like you are touching the ground. That didn't happen with the Next 1 or the Next 2 and that is Nike's mistake in this shoe. It feels comfortable and reactive but the catapult effect is greatly lost for the reason I said above. Let's see if they improve it in v4.

Yeah i think i liked about it, it worked with my gait, i would just pop on it the right way but i would say it is unstable i remember my feet feeling sore after my 10k race
