I just clicked over 106 miles in my Hoka skyflows, and I have to say I had the same experience. The first 30 miles or so I kept asking myself…”Do I like these shoes?” But now that I’m over 100 miles in, they’re one of my favorites and I use them in rotation with my Mach 6.
Not even a hurricane stops the grind!! BANG 💥 Also have you seen the adizero evo sl?? That’s the shoe I’ve been waiting adidas to make!! It’s like the adios pro 3/4 but without the energy rods!!! Super excited for that one. Supposedly going for 150$!! Might blow the superblast out the water 👀
I find the perception of the rocker can change once it's loaded with weight. The way the foam compresses and decompresses and how much the shoe flattens out, depending on how stiff it is, can affect that. Stiffer or plated shoes should maintain that better. Also, shout out to Charli for her cooking. Everything she makes looks great and now she's dropping homemade tortillas?
Yo, glad to see you made it ok. But I have a suggestion, you need to trim away those branches of that tree. Those things become projectiles. Stay Safe Alwayz
Here for the HP references! Have been enjoying my Skyflows both on road and treadmill quite a bit too 👍 Supwell Kitchen also bringing the heat always! You should try stuffed cookies (if you haven't yet already).... game changing post-run treats!
skyflow looks like a winner for me great oat/raison cookie, reminds me of the british flapjacks without the banana in it.......slow old runner takes a flapjack or a cookie instead of a gel any day of the year ......70 and older taks joy over performance
You mention 1080 as being the leading soft shoe of the year, maybe the softest.....but isn't last year's 13 softer than the 14? And I did watch 'Horizon,' or should I say Part 1. Well, I didn't really get it. Was there a particular story being told? There didn't seem to be any resolution. No story ends as far as I could tell. Now, that could very well be because it's not over. Perhaps after Parts 2-4 a satisfying conclusion will be reached. Then again, I feel like there must have been a Part 0 or something because we seem to enter situations already underway. How did we get to this point? Anyway, that's what I thought about it.......
How do you think the Skyflow stacks up against the Triumph 20/21? I just picked up the 21s and already love them. I’m debating just hoarding a few more pairs since they’re cheaper than any new model daily trainer.
Yo!!!! Need a new daily trainer. Looking for some good recs from the hobby jogger crew. I'm a little heavier (200ish lbs) and I have a lower cadence (162), I'm a mid-foot striker who falls back to heels late in races. I like a lower drop (5-8 mm) and want my next trainer to have good pop but not too firm. My daily runs are 6-10 miles. Lmk please if you know of a good shoe that fits the bill. FYI - I already have the 1080v13 which I love for recovery and long run but find too soft to want to use as a daily.
I have the NB880v14, the firmer foam becomes softer due to how heavy I am, and I find them soft enough for recovery runs and phenomenal for daily trainers. I don't bottom out in them either. 264lbs 5'10"
I hate chunky shoes… listen, I’m not investing in all this nonsense. For all the poor people who enjoy jogging and can’t afford new sneakers do the best you can with what you have. Don’t let all this fancy stuff discourage you! You can still be successful without new sneakers. Doing your best comes from within when you pour your heart and soul into the stuff you enjoy doing… sneakers can’t motivate you or increase your soul drive… and if you can afford fancy sneakers good for you no hate! The moment I start buying into all this fancy crap is the moment my hobby isn’t enjoyable anymore
That oatmeal raisin cookie looked like the perfect texture. If you want to indulge sometime, replacing raisins with chocolate chips is 🤌 magnifique (French chef accent)
@@supwell those are bomb and definitely upmarket cookies. But my favorite oatmeal chocolate chips are either homemade or weirdly Potbelly has a very satisfying one.
Thanks for the name drop!!! Come to the app and pick up your 13’s! It’s a GREAT community!
We hobby jogging!?

I love my Skyflows. Comfy, mild bounce, handles different paces, disappears on foot.

Stuffed cookies sound awesome! Will have to give those a try
It's a constant battle with the wind in the UK at this time of year. Maybe not quite to hurricane levels but still...
Dang, can Charlie send me that tortilla recipe? Those look amazing.
When can we get a cookbook by Charli? Another section on the Supwell App featuring her recipes?
I'm trying to convince her! 😂 Stay tuned

That's what I was wondering. I love those particular Triumphs.
Ah, at 39:20 he brings it up: these for him are more like the Endorphin Shifts, while those Triumphs are apparently ike the Adidas Supernova Primas.

Why you never order the wide version? 🤷🏻♂️ 🤦🏻♂️
Video is four times (4x), possibly even 10 times (10x), as long as any other ShoeTuber would make their review for a pair of shoes.
any plans on dropping those hobby jogger hats?
Yes more coming soon! Stay tuned
