A rough idea I came up with for the Krusty Krab’s hours. Operating Hours: Monday: 9am-6pm Tuesday-Thursday: 9am-11pm Friday-Saturday: 9am-8pm Sunday: Closed Employee Schedules: Monday -Spongebob: 11am-8pm -Squidward: 8am-6pm -Mr. Krabs: 6am-7pm Tuesday-Thursday -Spongebob: 7am-2am -Squidward: 9am-12am -Mr. Krabs: 6am-9pm Friday -Spongebob: 11am-10pm -Squidward: 8am-8pm -Mr. Krabs: 6am-10pm Saturday -Spongebob: 11am-4pm -Squidward: 9am-8pm -Mr. Krabs: 6am-9pm This is based on a number of factors such as Spongebob working 82 hours a week (supposedly, I didn’t do much research), the fact that Squidward is routinely seen working before Spongebob arrives, night shifts, etc. Of course this isn’t a strict schedule and the hours are very much subject to what Krabs feels like on any given day. It also doesn’t take into account sick days, overtime, or the ever elusive “Paid Time Off”. Edit: Also, let’s be honest, it’s a show. There is no work schedule, there are no operating hours, the Krusty Krab is open or closed whenever the plot needs it to be. And I’ve spent way too much time thinking about this compared to the writers.

They Should renamed it to SpongeBob SquarePants Forever Just like Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever

I can subscribe to the theory of Squidward being in charge of the grill when Spongebob is out if you consider the following: *anyone can make a delicious Krabby Patty, not just Spongebob* The few instances where it's shown that Squidward burns the food could be easily be attributed to the fact that Squidward is pretty lazy and gets overwhelmed when the restaurant gets crowded (like during rush hour) on top of the fact he has to handle both the register and the kitchen at the same time, but outside of that he's a quite capable cook he can even cook under extreme handicaps like not being able to use his hands in "The Krusty Sponge" Even then I think it's not really that Spongebob is all that good of a cook why Krabby Patties are so popular but because their secret formula makes them taste so good: Plankton seems to be pretty clueless about what's remotely edible, but he was able to steal all of the costumers once he got hold of the recipe, and by the same token chum can become tasty if cooked with a special recipe such as Squidward's grandma's Chum Fricassee Alternatively, you could interpret that Bikini Bottom's residents _really_ are "bottom feeders" who'd eat anything (like at Stinky Burgers), so a bad to mid Krabby Patty is just as good as one made by Spongebob P.S.: Has anyone else ever wondered about that second grill at the back of the kitchen? Like in this video it's shown that whenever two people are cooking the the same time they always ever use the same grill rather than splitting between the two???

I think it would be fun to rewrite a new episode of SpongeBob..maybe might do that for *FUN* at some point Also, by the early 2000s cartoon comparison..Zim is an adult, he just goes to school

I always assumed that the Krusty Krab was closed when SpongeBob wasn’t there, because Mr Krabs is too cheap to hire the additional staff. This is the same man that forced his workers to work 24 hour shifts on 2 occasions and didn’t hire nighttime workers

I don't think there's enough evidence in the show to make a concrete chronological order of episodes, but there should definitely enough there to place everything around and between 10 anchor episodes with major character introductions/events, most of which you already have in your timeline: Tea at the Treedome Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy 3 (Manray) Help Wanted Krusty Love Plankton! Its probably a combination of Squidward, Krabs and the Patty Vault, with the latter being utilized when the lunch rush is too much for the other two.

I could see Krabs having the restaurant closed on Sunday, it costs money to pay the employees and utilities and stock, especially any burgers not sold or fries, and with less customers than average coming in on a sunday, he's making less profit per dollar than a weekday so he'd save those burgers and fries for a day when people eould actually buy them!

With Squidward, I personally just bdlieve he can make paddies, but is less competant than Spongebob. I also believe that, when Squidward fails at making paddies its cannonically earlier than episodes where he succeeds.
