@@justjack71002 @justjack71002 Thank you I greatly appreciate the positivity, so with the clutch pulleys some people love them some people don't, so when it comes to permanent engagement, I believe you can permanently wire it but I haven't ever tried it, however there is a mod you can do to the pulley undo the bolt holding the clutch face and there are some shims in there, remove them and retighten the clutch face this will lock it permanently engaged, this is one way folks repair a failed clutch pulley, however if it's functioning you should be able to do it but create a separate circuit for it as to the coils could blow fuses you would need to have it switch with the ignition otherwise it could cause other issues or use a switch, but locking it mechanically is the best and safest method👍 if not already please subscribe and share and help us grow and reach more people

@@_nikosb_520 unfortunately I can't measure the thickness accurately, I would advise emailing stern garage, they should be able to get you the specs, last time I checked they no longer sold them, so I no longer have access to the measurements of it. There is also hedgehog Motorsport in Thailand they also may be able to give you specs, sorry I can't help more but I don't want to give you any wrong information, I believe it works out to standard thickness but obviously with things like squash I don't know how thick it is under compression, I hope at least that information helps a little.

@@angelaldacoaa unfortunately not on this job, the bolts are almost certain to fail on any of the mini range from the r56 to the r60 and paceman, I was extremely Careful as I was trying to avoid it to get the job done quickly but they both sheered, however it was quite easy to just get some 12.9 bolts and nuts off Amazon for not a lot of money, I don't doubt they're will be a lucky few that don't suffer this it's just beat to be prepared for it

@@kylexy2428 basically that part is a little trial and error as the standard ECU works on a load base it can vary from car to car, basically you tune this system using the boost controller to vary the delay, but to find the sweet spot you have to drive the car and feel for when the car boost cuts which is quite an abrupt judder, when the car judders if I remember right you add more delay to the valve until the car can smoothly transition between being on and off boost. This mod will not add performance but enables a way around the factory electronic bypass valve which is required in some circumstances. If this was helpful please subscribe

@M-oneeleven-M111 thanks, you were very precise in the explanation, I made the system with a tial valve and it works perfectly, I just have to adjust the boost delay, I will try it after the end of year holidays

@@paco6096 Hi, thank you Merry Christmas, I have always tightened the Valve cover bolts till they feel hand tight, however I believe the actual torque setting is between 8 and 10nm which I believe is around 6-8ftlbs after a heat cycle it is worth re checking the torque. @@a1loans823 is there no spark on all cylinders or just one? If it's all cylinders it's is work checking your crankshaft position sensor to the rear of the engine near the bell housing under the intake manifold, it maybe that's faulty? If it's just a single cylinder if you have any kind of diagnostic obd tool, move the coil packs around to see if the misfire follows, the camshaft Position sensor can sometimes cause running issues but not normally a complete loss of spark, where as the crank position sensor can, I hope that helps

@@jacobdeath4875 this project started off with a T04e which worked great with the stock block and in my opinion is the best suited budget turbo, we later switch to a GT35 which still spooled well but gave us the most headaches but this revision was also tied in with a lot of other major changes with over complicated the build, with the engine I am currently building I have a GT30 with a T04E back housing for quick spool with a bit more Compressor volume

@@M-oneeleven-M111 At what rpm did to4e reached boost? I want to do a turbo conversion but looking for a fast spooling turbo to eliminate turbo lag as much as possible

Also how do I establish how much delay is necessary to apply to the vacuum circuit? thx

@@LYDN26 tighten in 3 equal stages up to a maximum torque of 129nm, it's the only info I have had access too and that's from 202 store so I do trust what they say

@@byronbaird7395 does yours have A/c or not? It's a little easier as you can get it from the top in no A/c versions, however I just used a spanner on mine it is very tight to get from the underside, but the biggest challenge will be the nut on the back side of the alternator it's a challenge to get back in place
