    My mother would ruin every christmas eith deniyng her young kids food, making it all about her crying how she hates life and christmas, yelling, calling the whole familly words, drinking too much as usual. Year buy year, we would all just try to keep her calm and out of trouble so we can enjoy christmas a little... This year we are done, we are all leaving and spending christmas how WE WANT even my grandparents (her parents) dont want to see this psycho on Christmas. She will stay with two underaged kids on the 24th but no worries, me and my man are inviting them, giving them presents and doing christmat on the 23th withoud her 🎉 its gonna be AMASING not to see her disgusting face and listen to how she hates everyone cause she is the best and we are the worst and we cant enjoy the holidays cause she yells she doesnt like to cook and will not feed anyone (even tho it was always me and my sistet who cooked and brought the food always lol)

    I’m glad I randomly scrolled across this because I sure needed to hear it. I’m so emotionally and physically drained, I just want to stay curled up in a dark room, isolating. But I have two kids and I want them to have magical holidays like I did as a child. I also get so easily overwhelmed just thinking of all the things I WANT to get done or do for them (depression-ADHD-brain is all over the place). I will remind myself to focus only on one day at a time, one task at a time. I will start by decorating. Thanks for this encouragement, dear. I wish you peace, good health, and comfort this holiday season. Bless you ❤️

      I'm beyond touched - thank you so much for sharing your story. Yes. It's the time of year - a magical time of year...that's often difficult for many of us to honor. Don't be hard on yourself by putting pressure on doing all the things. One step at a time. One precious day at a time with your little ones. Depression is a bugger, but we can pick at it little by little. 💕😊 Have a wonderful holiday season. I wish you and your lovely family the best.

    Nope. If you look at Frida's hair at her temples, the start of the braids is ON TOP of the head, not in the back to the sides. There is a little clip of film on RUclips that shows how Frida drapes a shawl criss cross BETWEEN the two ponytails ON TOP of her head, even on her forehead, before braiding the shawl INTO the hear. Then she drapes the braids UP and binds the shawl. I tried this and it sits rock solid. No pins needed!!

I do believe they were soulmates...I also believe one can have more than one soulmate in their lifetime. I truly hope he finds a second as Selena left him & us too soon. Can you imagine where she's be right now if she were still alive?!

  • @mcaz150
    @mcaz150 2 года назад

    I agree that using vinegar or scrubbing with baking soda is problematic. However, so long as you are working with sterling silver, there is no harm in placing the jewelry on aluminum in a baking-soda bath. You are merely creating an electrochemical reaction that transfers the tarnish from the silver to the aluminum. The chemistry is as follows: the tarnished silver or silver sulfide (acting as the cathode) is placed in direct contact with the aluminum (acting as an anode) within a baking soda bath to facilitate the movement of electrons between the two metals. As the aluminum has a much higher affinity for sulfur atoms than silver, the silver ion is reduced back to silver, the sulfide ions are released and bind to aluminum to form aluminum sulfide. The aluminum corrodes, and the silver turns shiny. After 10 minutes, remove from bath, rinse with water, and dry. No scratching! Note: use a glass container rather than metal and remove the jewelry after 10 minutes to avoid kinetic reversal. Extremely tarnished items may need a second bath with new aluminum and soda bath.

    Nobody's perfect. Hard fact. However, everyone has admirable qualities to aspire to and learn from. Going into this project, where I learn about Frida and design a unique jewelry collection of my own, I knew I'd come away with a different perspective about this woman. While I'm only at episode 2, my prediction has rang true and in certain ways I can't help but admire her more. Was there something in this episode that especially piqued your interest? Something you previously never heard of before?

    So good to see you back! I don't know near enough about her life, I have tried to dip into that several times as of late but my own feelings and ...idk how to describe it but the side of the story about disability I find harder to read about given my own situation. I haven't quite been strong enough to spend the time reconciling her own story and the complexities of that for me so I have avoided going to deep with the history and that side of things for the time being (hope how I said that makes sense!). I loved hearing you talk about her, your connection with her work and seeing the pieces you've been working on- they're gorgeous! Those dainty roses were lovely and can totally see them as hair accessories, both as individual clips and the headband, I can picture that being lovely. The blue house ones are probably my favourite (and I think you're being to hard on yourself with them!) They have an essence of a full moon and that mystical quality of love and devotion as well as the darkness of night in both literal and emotional ways as well as the beauty that the moonrays can bring into those nights in the glistening and sparkling nature of it (literally and emotionally). Anyways, I think each version of that design is beautiful in a new way and the ones with the dangly bits seem like they might also be good for the brooches worn at the centre of the top of a button up shirt (like where you would a bow tie or cameo alternative) I can't think of the right name for the life of me right now but that style of clip or pin that has been popular in the 50s and previous when collared shirts were popular for women. Come to think of it those dainty roses might also make some lovely collar pins/clips if you wear that type of shirt :) I could spend far too many words writing how I loved each one of the designs as they are stunning even if you don't feel they are quite right or exactly what you want for this collection-they are stunning none the less! (As were the earrings you were wearing, which I am guessing are also your own design? I took a screenshot so I could use my things to look at them more closely like I did the other designs, you are so talented and have such a good eye with designs and the finishing touches.) Anyways, I have blathered on more than enough. Hope you're doing ok. (I hope my letter from a while back arrived safe and sound, I've been struggling to keep on top of things this spring and missed emailing to say, but I do hope it did actually get to you and has found you doing well. Miss you! xxxx)

      Annie!! Sooo happy to hear from you. Your comments always make me so happy. Thank you so much for giving me your feedback on my pieces. Yes, I did make the earrings I was wearing. I thought they seemed like something Frida would wear so I just thought it fitting. The Blue House design is my favorite. I never even considered how it was reminiscent of moonbeams. Now, I can't stop seeing that in them! I love it! Thank you!! I can totally see why you would find it challenging to study her given her disability. I find it challenging to hear or learn about it. I miss you! I have received your letters. I haven't responded yet, but will soon! I have so much to tell you. Sorry that it's taken me so long to respond. I read your message right away, but I wanted to sit down on my laptop to respond as I too tend to blather a bit and didn't want to respond with too many typos. I hope you've been well! Love you!!

    Omg your awesome I haven't wore earrings in years and I have weird knot things in my earlobes from piercing them as a teen. They still itch! Nothing has been in them in over a year. When I did poke something through I just wanted to see if it was still open. Oddly enough the only and I mean only eating that has NEVER given me problems are those WAL-MART sharp piercer earrings lol! I know now as an adult you should only get a piercing with a hollow point needle, never with a solid needle or the gun most a lot of places use but I was again a kid. I would love to try your eatings out! I did research in the past and purchased different products and you are so right, all these supposed 'hypo allergenic' metals or w/e just make your ears super red and itchy and sometimes worse!!!!! I will go on ur page to try to find links to ur shop ty so much for making this video I'm sorry I'm rambling I'm just excited to finally understand what's wrong with me or should I say wrong with these supposed hypo allergenic' companies. 1st off How dare you look so gorgeous and have hair that bobby pins don't just slide around and out of quickly! 😂 These hairstyles are all perfect and you are looking like you have been doing magazine layouts. You have such a good eye for design and styling such things! And while I won't argue with being more excited than you about all your plans for the new collection (tempted to try, but I'll ere on the side of discretion this time- unlike me I know!😂), I AM very much looking forward to seeing all that you were talking about and seeing more of the process behind what you make and what is inspiring your art at this point in time. It always makes me so happy to see what you are feeling inspired by and passionate about... and since I am clearly in a blathering type place I will sign off and spare your eyes and brain from more.
